Beautiful...❤️I am looking forward to see you touring around the world as a concert pianist.. pls dont stop vlogging as we need to inspire people to appreciate and LOVE classical music.. from 🇵🇭
Beautiful! Some people measure the quality of a performance by the degree to which it accurately conveys the intentions of the composer. But for me, this needs to be taken a step further before touching my heart. The unique personality of the performer has to come through to distinguish a statement of truth from hearsay. The most unobtrusive way to do this is to make the music your own--let it become YOUR music--not as a possession or accomplishment attached to ego, but rather as an honest, humble personal statement. You've done this here. You've made Liszt Consolation No. 3 your own. Congratulations! And thank you! It moved me to tears!
I had never heard Liszt before but after seeing the blooper vlog, i casually checked it out.. My gosh this is amazing.. Thanks a lot.. Now I am 'officially' adding Liszt to my list (pun not intended) of favourite classical composers.. Please do more videos of him, or make a playlist if you already have..
Stunning playing, and such a pleasure to watch such a beautiful technique. Her hands are like a ballerina, floating and caressing the keys in lovely flowing movements. This is what gives her such control over her touch on the keys since the hand and arm weight is always perfectly balanced, and that control results in a gorgeous warm tone. Look at how she floats down onto that first low D flat, and how her RH is always anticipating the next note and gesture, and how she lifts at the end of each phrase. The music is absolutely divine, but students could also learn so much about the art of piano playing just from watching Tiffany.
Chee Kit Chong I’m learning un sospiro now as my final school piece, would be so interesting to see how she plays it and take notes. It’s a beautiful piece, so agreed with the person above
Ok. Good. It sounded and looked like you experienced one of those exceptional moments when playing a piece that even we the player disappears, entranced by the music. Only to awaken after the last note’s full value and then the silence that is still alive from it. Great. Gave me chills
You are such an inspiration to your audience, thank you for sharing this wonderful music with us and I am excited to see where your gifts and experience will take you next. :)
Truly beautifully unique, all the various tender tones were delicately delivered. It’s meditative and contemplative. What an unbelievable performance. I have listened to this in the am more times than I can count and just now to end my evening. It’s just-no words. Thanks for sharing!
Lovely, sublime, ethereal, soulful, melts your heart, caresses, AND truly consoles your soul. Played with a lot of sensitivity and oriental delicacy. Thank you!
I've said it before and I'll say it again. Tiffany is so graceful. It's like she's weaving silk with her hands or performing ballett while simultaneously bringing beautiful, ageless, melodies into the air.
Gives me chills 😌 Well done this time! The emotions portrayed fit the song very well, feeling something that most people wouldn't pick up. Keep on going, we'll support you through wherever you go!
Tiffany istg you'd be a terrific classical music buddy had we lived in the same country and attended the same university😭 I'd love to learn from you someday.
Kania Wijayanti Wow.. you must be smart, wealthy, and lucky at the same time to attend Julliard, my fellow Indonesian citizen. I wish you graduate with excellent grades!
Tiffany you played this Liszt piece sssooo elegantly . Your hands move with such poise ; gently endearingly .... I feel such longing there are no words to be said . until next time -- Vic
I really like the way you play this beautiful piece. It actually gives me shivers in my spine when you deliver those buttery smooth legato notes. You're doing great, keep making these videos!
Looking forward to learning this piece hopefully in the near future. (For context, I am finishing my last pieces on level 9 rcm and moving on to level 10 rcm soon (hopefully) so ya! I am exited!)
Perhaps in a parallel universe. I see no connection. But I do know this piece is sublime. A gentle summer breeze, blowing through the hair of a maiden who has fallen asleep in a meadow...
Missing what point? I think you are referring to Nocturne op 27 no 1, I cannot find a number 2. If you mean the left hand, that is like saying two people who have dark hair are cousins. For me, the Chopin is somber, mournful. This consolation is full of hope, and that device of the repeating upper notes twinkling an echo the middle area of the keys, feels like star-shine. Consolation, for me, is arguably one of the greatest pieces ever composed in the entirety of music.

Enrico Amante I would definitely get Tiffany Poon tickets or go to fan events at any available cost personally. I love her so much ❤️
I wish.

What a virtuo performance! Magnificent technical n emotional expression, so moving it pierces the soul.
Love this song. So simple, but so emotional. I also really like songs that manage to convey a sense of sadness while still being in a major key.
Lovely comment but this piece is far from simple to play....... yes very emotional.....
Also love the piece. Sometimes it changes to a minor key though (F or A minor e. g.)
Piece*
@@paulgurry8953 you can tackle ot after 1 year/2 years
Learning it now. It sounds simple but it is not. Those polyrhythms on both hands require a lot of coordination.

Oh wow! I'm so glad I introduced you to Liszt!!
How dont you know Liszt, but are experienced Enough to tackle his pieces
That is cool .the same thing happened to me you should also check out Chopin and Rachmaninoff and Schubert.
@@koengreen2540 does she say she can tackle his pieces . I didn't see that?
How wonderful! Another lyrical Liszt masterpiece here: th-cam.com/video/XKqe75kfQCc/w-d-xo.html Perhaps Tiffany will play it one day.

Must be my favourite rendition of Liszt Consolation!!! 😍😌
Can you play Un Sospiro? :D

Chee Kit C I
Omg, yes please!! 🙏
Aaahh yeeesss
Omg that would be amazing if she could play un sospiro
The piece reminds me of one of chopin’s nocturnes...
you played it beautifully and delicately ❤️
The nocturne that I think of when I hear this song is the “nocturne in d flat major”
Me too!
Liszt was almost certainly inspired by Chopin's Nocturne when he wrote this! :)
It was inspired by chopins nocturne op 27 no 2 :)
This piece was actually dedicated to Chopin! (By the way, Liszt got the inspiration from Nocturne Op. 27 No. 2)
Tiffany plays so delicate and with so much feeling, she's amazing.
How you play the piano is so beautiful💕
Absolutely stunning. I couldn't take my eyes off you. You became the music!!

This Consolation by Liszt really gave me some consolation.

Beautiful! Liszt's first two Consolations are gorgeous as well!
Truly beautifully unique, all the various tender tones were delicately delivered. It’s meditative and contemplative. What an unbelievable performance. I have listened to this in the am more times than I can count and just now to end my evening. It’s just-no words. Thanks for sharing!
Beautiful soul-searching tones!!

How many times have I listened to you play this piece. It will never be enough. You play beautifully. Thank You ❤
appreciating its results is, for most, a fairly facile undertaking, but comprehending genius is certainly beyond my ken. this is beautiful

Awesome and inspiring!
The distant cousin of Nocturne op 27 #2 by Chopin
Perhaps in a parallel universe. I see no connection. But I do know this piece is sublime. A gentle summer breeze, blowing through the hair of a maiden who has fallen asleep in a meadow...
@@davetinoco I confused them for a long time
@@davetinoco you’re missing the point then

@@davetinoco This piece was actually dedicated to Chopin after he died, and yes, Liszt took inspiration from Op. 27 No. 2.
Wonderful capturing the mood..if I was a professional pianist that is how I would play it...but not copying if course.
Good job 👏👏👏
So relaxing.
Soooooo good !
I love your vlogs, also your playing, manier van muziek maken.
Bravo!! Bravissimo...!! For you 🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷
