@@mirasfingerbandages Yeah, unique kosmetics such as gears are definitely enjoyable, but the same thing can't be said to color palettes. Just feel so wrong using Ermac's color only to throw SZ's ice ball, it's like MK1 and 2 all over again where Ermac and Reptile's first appearances are basically Scorpion and SZ's slapped with their signature colors.
I hope that they put the ninjas that aren’t in the game into one ninja focused dlc pack cuz this might just be a me thing but I feel that the all of the ninjas should be based roster. Rain having to be dlc twice? BS

isacssj4 cs when u cancel ur strings into the flying punch, you can cancel the flying punch, and it kinda reset neutral. So you become safe, depends also if you opponent has quick counter moves like jacqui flying punch. In cases like that, the cancel wouldnt work.

Her string that leads to the ridiculous damage has to be an overhead (-14 extremely punishable) and if she makes it into a low it ends with 110 -160 with meter, she’s still 100% reserving a nerf so will subzero 🤷♂️
They should have Sonya vs sub zero and whoever wins with the mix ups gets nerfed. Then they need to give Geras 3 more crushing blows and buff his damage.

Does anybody else think that it’s unfitting for Sub Zero to have ice axes instead of ice swords?
I guess you are right since ninjas are supposed to be much lighter in their weapons choice. But i believe is in reference to his weapon in MK4 which was an axe that could freeze too.

Both are clans of assassins warriors. In fact assassins and ninjas are the same thing from two different cultures but Ed Boon John Tobias were not being accurate when creating the series anyway, and so pretty much they are ninjas all the same like Reptile, Ermac, Rain, etc...

But in fact that Sub-Zero is a Cryomancer, and what we know about him, is; they were a race of warriors, ice wizards, so maybe they have knowledge to create another ice weapons like axes. In some dialogues with another characters, Kuai seems to don't know too much about his ancestors, but maybe he learned a considerable things like weapons creation or masks.
So, yes, you can say ninjas and Lin Kuei are different, but similar in the same way. But you must recognize Lin Kuei (at least Sub-Zero) love to use more heavy and dangerous weapons than a katana or a simple sword.

If you do a sub-zero brutality and you hold left + 1 & 3 all at the same time, you can summon a snowman next to you instead of a regular person. (Yes it really works) The same can be done to summon a polar bear ice statue except the input is right + 2 & 4
You dont need the extra inputs for snowman its left +1 and then the bear is right +4

@@rykerirontooth 1, 2, 3, and 4 are universal inputs. On ps4, 1=square, 2 =triangle, 3=x, and 4= circle. On Xbox, 1=X 2=Y, 3=A, 4= B.
After you do the forward throw brutality where you hit them up into the ceiling of spikes, if you hold down + 3 (maybe hold stance as well, I always do) the body will fall down from the spikes. Nothing special but it's there

Damage is reduced after using ice ball until the kombo is komplete so you should use the slide's krushing blow after the kombo for 31% damage with the krushinb blow alone

Massive waste of slide kb. Raw slide kb does 300 something damage on its own. It gets scaled HARD in a combo so it's almost never worth it to use it in a combo.
If you expending 2 krushing blows you should be getting 500 damage.

Tbh I think that his kick and throw krushing blows should be combos extenders, after all they do just as much damage as a regular combo extender krushing blow, such as that of Baraka or Kotal Kahn. As for this throw it should be like nightwolf’s shoulder charge, leaving the opponent standing with the ace in their chest for a combo. Just saying that should be how it’s structured
