i don't know if anyone will read this but i think azi's "i forgive you" meant something different then most people think. The kiss wasn't tender or romantic, it was aggressive and desperate. It was Crowleys last effort to convince azi to stay with him. I think azi's "i forgive you" meant he was forgiving Crowley for using how they felt about each other as a weapon essentially. He was showing azi what he was leaving. Pouring all of his anger and hurt into one kiss in an effort to hurt azi in turn. So azi said he forgave him, but crowley doesn't want to be forgiven. He wants to be chosen.
I think it was also fear on Crowley’s part, and Azi was also forgiving him for rushing it and trying to talk him out of changing things instead of running away. That’s why we see him look so regretful when he realizes that heaven hasn’t changed at all, and he’s just lost everything for nothing.
the problem is how Crowley himself understood it. It seemed to me that this "forgiveness" was a strong blow to him. something like - I forgive your love. and it definitely hurts.

I had to stop watching almost immediately. That song makes me burst into noisy tears without it being associated with Good Omens. I need time. Lots and lots of time. I am actually physically ill over this show. No joke. Damnit, Neil. I wish that most of the fandom hadn't already written gut-wrenching, torture-filled, depressing-as-fuck fanfic because we all need to be cheered the hell up right now. I already suffer from lifelong depression and the problems that come with it, so I am taking care of myself right now and will revisit this video at a later date. God, we're all going to need therapy forever, aren't we?

It is an absolute testament to the ridiculous amount of talent involved with this show that we are all behaving like we've personally lost the loves of our lives over FICTIONAL CHARACTERS!!!! I don’t know if anybody’s gonna see this but I just had this thought and theory We don’t know a lot about how Crowley became a demon we get a small glimpse of when he was an angel and he said something about what couldn’t do any harm to anybody by just asking a few questions he said something along those lines and then the next thing you know we jump to present day and he’s a Diemond. I can tell a little bit that azi’s has some questions about how things go down why they go down and even though he’s not very open with the angels he is a little bit what if asking questions is what got Crowley demoted to demon or maybe it was something else to maybe the reason why Crowley did all that stuff in the season finale by expressing himself and giving him a kiss was as a weapon but as a weapon of defense all I see is fear in Crowley‘s eyes maybe it’s not fear of losing his best friend and his love interest maybe it’s fear that he’s seeing aszi’s do some of the things that he did ask some of the questions he asked and knowing maybe that it got him to where he is today and put him through all that emotional pain and suffering he’s doesn’t want the same thing to happen to asi’s I find it interesting in the video when asi’s says I don’t think you understand what I’m offering you and Crowley says I understand what you’re offering me in fact I think I understand a whole hell of a lot more than you do. Something along those lines not sure if I got the quote correctly right you get my point. See now I find that quote very interesting because it shows that Crowley knows something more about being an angel again there are many instances where there are clues given that he was once an angel you know so maybe he’s just trying to prevent the inevitable. Idk. Crowley really cares about him and I can tell that he knows something more knows more of a price that Hass to be paid for asking questions he just wants asi’s. To be OK to not go through what he went through so when asi’z says I forgive you Crowley doesn’t care because he’s sad because he has a bigger picture. Of it all

ohhhh i learned mainly by watching/admiring a ton of other people’s videos and piecing it together myself. it definitely helps to have a good program (i use capcut and/or premiere pro) and access to high quality scene packs but beyond that it’s really a learning process. i hope you try it out, it can be super rewarding and fun :)
It’s a reference to the ending of S1, when they were eating at the Ritz, the song “a nightingale sang in Berkeley square” played. And God said that while this was happening, there was actually a nightingale singing in Berkeley Square. (You can look up the lyrics of the song to get a better vibe for it, and I’m sure I didn’t explain this well so it would help to go back and watch the very end of S1)
