This Abigor track is absolutely stunning. So intricate and evocative. Been a fan for many years, but this seems like a new benchmark for them. As much as I respect them doing the 'stripped down' approach, an album of this song's particular kind of complexity and richness would be incredible...
he doesn´t really compare, he just tries to piss on something great to appear cool, and namedrop an unreleased album (not getting that TDS and Acrimonious are connected) to tell he´s a VIP, hahaha.
Wow, the subdued chaos of Abigor's track is marvelous once it grows on you. Other tracks are great in their own right, but Abigor really nail it this time.
strong split all in all, just a slightly disappointed by Nightbringer and Abigor. Abigor grows on me, first I missed the heaviness, but the track is pretty unique, Mortuus drags on too long also, but if you are in the right mood, definitely good. Nightbringer has much more to offer, this one is just too drawn out (I feel the same about their debut and good killed in comment sections for this opinion, but I don't care, I like that Nightbringer evolved) Thy darkened Shade kill like always, damn, they are on their own astral plane, looking down on other occult BM bands.
