Abigor once again shows how black metal still can be reinvented and still make the music great. They are one of very few bands that have the guts to still make something excellent like this.
Very few? Dodheimsgard, Fleurety, Arcturus, Beherit, Blut Aus Nord just for the legendary known acts, everything from Spektr to Odraza after that. I don't get it, you got this far to the underground, why make such a ridiculous statement? Black metal has always reinvented itself.

Wow, this is a special album. It starts out and sounds like what you'd expect, but the layers start to appear with an almost freeform, jazz solo (which was the first head turner for me) So much going on here, and it's all wonderfully blended together. An extremely eclectic album, love it.
there is no info on the liner notes on the LP. I can speculate that it is from a Germanic opera historical performance, usually they place ideological imagery in the theatre productions. It could be Salome, as it has a religious subject. Doesn't look like Wagner. I think the full frontal nudity is photoshopped on to the older picture and that the ghosts are collage.
