Doesn't exactly help that he keeps running a high speed in difficult terrain... I mean, anyone that has ever driven offroad knows that you need to take your time and feather the gas pedal.. you can't run at normal speed trough hard terrain without wrecking your car or getting punished by driving off the obstacle you're trying to clear.. The game is trying hard to be as realistic as possible, and Trev keeps treating it as if it was as realistic as GTA (in other words, not at all realistic).
@Ted Johnson/videos How often does he actually USE low gear? "Man, auto is so much better traction", then punches the gas pedal into heavy rocky terrain and deep mud, gets damage to shock absorbers, car jumps everywhere, and he asks "why is it so hard to control".. Yea.. i wonder why..
I'd love a 5-10 minute highlight reel of scouting a bit better, I think. Scary situations, sketchy trails, discovering landmarks, clearing/ building roads. And then getting into a job. I have purchased SnowRunner after watching the series haha, so keep up the good work 👍🏻😎
I love these scouting episodes, and when you said you hated the flat-faced semi-trucks, I agree with you. I do not like the fact the thing powering your semi is beneath you.
Love the exploration videos, they are better when you do more than just get the watch towers. Finding upgrades, new vehicles, and even small missions make it better
I agree with the lot of you. Scouting videos are nice way to show off the landscape and watching you explore with "Apollo" sinking, rolling, bouncing it like crazy.
I think these scouting vids are the best when you first unlock a new map so there is always different stuff to see and also I love this episode it’s gonna be sad saying goodbye to dealer sim 🙌
Scouting/offroading episodes every 4 or 5 episodes is fine, grinding small tasks is also fine - failures is ok to show. Don't look so much to camera - pay attention on trees - you hit a tree every time you look at camera ;) Finaly was able to buy the game - freakin epic...
Love this series! Scout episodes are awesome, it's nice to see a similar approach. Make sure you understand your vehicles and know what you're going out with. Change the tires on the jeep and try to lower it if possible.
Exploratory episodes are great, too! Maybe do once in a while between delivery-style episodes? Actually, this game has co-op mode and you said liking off-roading for fun so how about doing a "safari convoy trip" with your girl friend? Two jeeps loaded with additional fuel supplies and repair kits and trying to get to their destination, helping each other when necessary. Plan some adventurous path or some objective like climbing to some mountain top or other hard to get place?
I love the scouting episodes, especially with the soundtrack; it's very relaxing to watch. I wouldn't usually watch these kinds of videos but you're very entertaining to watch! :D
My family goes keeping with our group all the time. Doing it during a flash flood is pretty scary. We were keeping at the desert in a canyon and a flash flood starting so we went to somewhere hiring to try and let it settle down but when we left it was way worse. It was like 11:30 at night so it was very dark. There were many times where we thought we would get stuck. The dirt was like quicksand so we couldn’t stop either. We were driving for around an hour before we got out of the canyon and we were in the flash flood the whole time. When we got home we had like 2 inch thick mud over the whole Jeep. It definitely was a very scary experience but so much fun.
I really like this kind of episodes. I would probably enjoy it mostly being about setting up everything for the main missions. So basically scouting, building bridges and removing rockfalls, at least for a couple of episodes. Which state that happens in is less important.
Here I am in 2022 watching this series for the 5th time. I wish Trev made made videos on this games there has been so much dlc. Take the original snow runner and now there’s more than double the amount been added to the game. And I’m putting this comment in every video in this series
I like Apollo. I'm rewatching the series for like the 3rd time and for some reason this time when you were talking about making a name for the Khan the first thing that popped into my head was "special k" because this was your main scout for the longest time and it's like a mainstay in the series by now lol
Loved the exploratory episode! Also I think you should just grind Michigan for now, follow the progression so you don’t get messed up in Alaska perhaps
Trev. You need to get the T124 engine upgrade and the autonomous winch for the Khan 39 Marshall it will make things like that river crossing easier and eliminate the need to worry so much about recovery ...the winch is battery operated so even stalled out on your side it still works. Using the engine I was able to get a good running start at an upriver angle and gun it out into that river crossing and then float back down and across through momentum that I hit the other side and was able to get traction again......also just wait until you get to lake islands and Drummond island they are almost all swampy mud.....but Drummond is smaller then the other 3
Huge Tip for people that have the Kahn, you can buy a Winch called the "autonomous scout" and it allows you to use your Winch even when your engine is stalled or your car is flipped
Trev: Drives Jeep into Water. Jeep: Submarine mode activated
The Jeep was in a bond film
@Ryen Bally 😆
LOL 😂
Hahahahahahaha
@@ItsaMikeThing.1 Couldn't resist
🤣🤣🤣
I love the scouting episodes, that's the best way to show off the map!!
Yeah, for real
Tmartn: “where we want to go”
Car/Apollo:”yeah right into the tree!!!”
the jeep is so hard to drive straight because of your tires, They are perfect for mud but bad on road, I love the videos
Doesn't exactly help that he keeps running a high speed in difficult terrain... @@Nordorf true, true
Bro the air is less on tires that’s why it does not drive perfect

Not only that, but constantly moving the camera position/angle can't help when trying to drive.
It 1:00am in England but still watching 🤣
Tara Rees 2 Am for me man :)
I'm in England and I was about to sleep but then I saw the noti from tmrtn2 and I just clicked it faster than Usain Bolt

Your Jeep IRL would be considered a "Mall Crawler" where I live lol

LOVE the scouting missions. SO relaxing and I enjoy seeing the scenery.
FINALLY!! IVE BEEN WAITING ALL DAY!!!
LETS GO TREV like if you been waiting for this all day
Yes I’ve been waiting for this
The scouting episodes are really fun keep doing them trev
I'm pretty sure the jeep has deflated tires, meaning more grip on dirt but obviously sucks on hard ground.

Trev that cabover rig is a classic man I know not everyone likes them but they also have a beauty to them at the same time
I have a feeling Trevor is surprised at how much people enjoying and watch are this game
Low key satisfying
This game is so pleasing to watch
Tmartn2 make more snowrunner, I enjoyed a lot
Best part of the series is trucking with the jeep I love watching and driving in mud

I love the scouting episodes
Love the spirit keep it up
You are a great trucker Trevor
The scouting is interesting! Especially if you make funny decisions like going through a road where you "technically" cannot, but do it anyways 🤣
By the way, next time remember in this game snorkles actually work, so as long as the water isnt about the snorkle you wont stall.
I absolutely love the scouting episodes!
I like these episodes 👍
Great video, enjoyed the exploration and scouting. Nice change of pace, provides a bit of variety
These are my favorite kind of episodes!
I like the scouting episodes almost as much as they spruce (?) trees Trev. I laughed so hard.
I’ve done this kind of stuff in my Silverado 1500 water over the hood for a sec at one point. It’s a crazy feeling I can’t wait to get this game
