    Can't wait to follow this project. I acquired a hf trencher earlier this year but haven't had time to do too much with it yet. Good luck and be safe.

    Good to know on the seepage - will be damming up a bit of my creek to see if it'll hold more water - I guess it's about really 5-6' of water surface across now, would love to see it keep some water, maybe enough to have a mini-pond. As always, thank you sir!

      Thanks cauldron, yea learn from my mistake. Make sure you dig down far enough to get to solid ground then build it back up. Digging a "core" (ditch) deep and then filling it back in is the secret.

    I love this. Can I ask how long it would take to do a half acre pound? In an open farm field? I've been thinking about getting one myself.

      Thanks Tim, it's hard to say how long it would take. When I dug this one I was working on it in between other jobs. It's not fast but it's a lot of fun.
