The man JK met at the dog cafe, Lee Min Woo, was born in July 1979. So if this meeting was in 2017, he would have been about 38 years old when he sat down with Jungkook: literally 20 years older. That's why he commented on their age gap. Min Woo is Shinwa's lead vocalist, which is probably why Jungkook had this conversation with him.
Shinwa is still together and active, with all six of the original members. They bought their independence some years ago and now work for themselves rather than for an entertainment company. You can do the math: Min Woo is about to turn 44, and their maknae, Andy, is now 42.

Suga is a strong man, that’s the reason why we love him so much. He had already experienced sh*t things in life that’s why he is eager to make music that can heals, comfort, and motivate people in life as he don’t want others to be feel lonely and go through it alone

Nobody is denying it likely has to do with either self harm or suicide, but those are two different things and we don't know which one he is referencing in this song because he didn't say. I just tend to be cautious of putting exact words in his mouth that didn't come from him himself.

Jimin makes me cry every single time, he has been so talented so gifted since the beginning and seeing him going through a low time always makes my heart aches. Everyone goes through a phase where they doubt themselves or don't feel that confident but the fact he shared and opened to so many people makes me feel so proud of him and it shows how brave and strong he is.

I am grateful for Anessa for making The Rise of Bangtan for many reasons. One of them is the perspective she bring as she places BTS in context of Kpop history and Korean culture. Since I came to BTS in 2019 I have been curious about what it was like to be a fan of Kpop before BTS--an OG fan. Anessa gives us just a glimpse and I appreciate learning more so I can educate myself and not pass along misinformation. For example, knowing about a group like Shinhwa and seeing how they are also pioneers and mentors. It is especially hopeful to see a group stay together so long as it sets precedent. It is a glimpse of a potential future where BTS is celebrating their 20th anniversary. 😁

fire was actually the very first song I heard from them back in 2016 and I loved it but never searched further. Then I rediscovered bts in 2019 again when they performed boy with luv, and stanned them ever since. It's true when they say you find bts when you need them most.
Aww I can't wait for you guys to attend your first BTS concert; being around fellow ARMY is just as special and memorable as seeing and supporting our boys. Seeing the purple ocean of army bombs, getting freebies, attending all the pre-concert events, and seeing all the cute and creative outfits/signs is such an unreal experience you'll never forget. BTS has inspired our lives and we inspired theirs, the bond you get from this fandom is unlike any other.

There’s a magazine interview to RM he was ask about 10 years from now about BTS its was like 2014 interview and he said he wishes they are still together and won’t be broken by personal greed , as what we can see now bts is still intact and no personal greed they always support each other.

BTS is a humble group. Jimin is exceptionally so. He has never seen himself as a talented artist no matter how people see him that's why he practices exceptionally hard for BTS and Army.
I’m pretty sure Jimin knows he is talented, but he will NEVER say that he is “good enough” because he always strive to be better (which for most of us mortals is hard to fathom). 💜
Yes. That was a thought he was having. A little background. Jimin was almost not picked. In fact, he almost got kicked out as a trainee many times. Before I go on these observations are taken from past interviews, from Jimin himself, and other members talking about him. I wish I had a catalog of chapter and verse so you could go look up the specific video I heard these things, but I don't. So I will put a disclaimer on what I'm saying. These are my personal observations and thoughts from what I've heard. To continue. Jimin almost got kicked out because he would get in trouble and get disciplined by mgmt or the group. And then his response was anger and rage. Of all the guys, he hits rage from 1 to 100 the fastest. When Jimin was signed, they started teaching him rap. Per Suga's wisdom he told mgmt Jimin is not a rapper. JK and Jin immediately upon signing got vocal coaches. Jimin didn't, but he really wanted to become a good singer. I found out later because Big Hit was poor and new they did not have vocal coaches as employees. So they had to pay for them. Jimin was left out. This may have started his self doubt. Jimin would go to JK's voice lessons and listen through the doors. JK kind of coached him, but he didn't really know how. So Jimin started practicing on his own. He was never given pats on the back for his singing. In many videos, he is asking the other members how he sounds. Is he ok? He had zero self confidence in his singing. He would come off stage crying when his voice cracked. To this day...as you saw in the Suga interview of Jimin...he still thinks he is lacking and continues to work very hard on his voice... despite his new album's songs setting all kind of records and getting recognition and winning awards. Per the Vlive with Suga and Jimin after one of Suga's concerts that Jimin attended..he told Suga he is taking voice lessons. Jimin is a perfectionist. And his voice is really good now because of his hard work and determination. But Jimin to this day is still hard on himself.
If Suga hadn't said anything back before debut, Jimin probably would have left! He wasn't given what the other vocalist had. He also had the shortest training. I cannot imagine Bts without Jimin. Also if he was that bad why from debut was he a main dancer and lead singer. I think management back then was cruel to Jimin because they had a deadline. Actually, Jimin with his acrobatics, martial arts brought color to Bts. Something the other guys couldn't do. All the guys are needed to form Bts and I adore them but Jimin had it the hardest and New fans have no idea! Enjoy the rest of your weekend...✌💜💜💜
bang PD has actually said what he promised he would after BTS became the biggest group in the world. they are now friends with him and can call him friend. normally you are not allowed to call a older person a friend. And a CEO a friend even more rare.

In Suga's interview with Jin, his latest "Suchwita" Jin explains the exact reason why they thought of disbanding after 7 years. It was new and never disclosed information Army didn't know. So NO spoilers from me. I highly recommend Suga's interview with Jin. Not only do we find out that information, but also more interesting personal insights into BTS. So, also watch Suga's interview with RM. And RM in turn interviews Suga on Suga's own show at a later date. I Highly Recommend them. Also, the documentary of Suga's journey to create D-Day, his latest album. More disclosures there too! Fascinating stuff.
When Minwoo asked Jungkook if he knew Seo Taiji, it brought back two of my favorite BTS memories.
The first when BTS did a live cover of Seo Taiji's song, "Come Back Home" and them performing that (and others) with Seo Taiji at his 25th anniversary show. Mind blowing! You don't have to do a reaction to them but it's a must-see for you guys.
They considered disbanding at the beginning of 2018 (less than 5 yrs since debut), but glad they talked it through and continued their journey of being the greatest boyband in the planet.
Shinhwa was the first Kpop group I found back, way back in the day. They're still together and yes, they own Perfect Man. gotta watch some of their old stuff because they were so so good. There are 6 members in the group and have 3 rappers and 3 vocalist. Yes, they did their military service and have families but are very private and their fans are respective of this. Most of them have solo music as well. I think a few months ago 3 or 4 of the members made a MV as well...they are just so very hardworking artists. They will always have a place in my heart.
One was excluded shortly before from promotions as he was involved in a DUI accident. Not a good idea.

learning about their story is something that made me commit so much to bangtan honestly. their lyrics are SO personal because as you watch them grow, see the things they’ve gone through and learn about their principles & beliefs you can truly understand where it all stemmed from. their genuineness and sincerity are something i have never felt coming from an artist before.
The Last has been my favorite Agust D song from the first time I heard it and to this day, it still gives me chills every time I listen to it. It really gave me a whole different level of appreciation for Yoongi.
Shinhwa is the only group still together from the 1st generation of Kpop,a lot of those from that generation are still active but as solo singers or as entertainers/actors

Minwoo from Shinhwa was born in 1979 (the other members are around that age too) and they're still together today;they debuted in SM but later on created a company with another member called Shinhwa Company so they are their own company. Half of the members are married too;also they had a 4 year hiatus while they all went to the military

16:31 jungkook was on a variety show called “celeb bros” so minwoo and him met at the dog cafe, then he took jungkook to go rock climb and challenge him a bit which was wild watching jk who never really rock climbed completely coast through the courses set by the trainer lol and then minwoo took jungkook to eat meat… then they got ice cream and sat at the Han river talking.
Tae went on the show as well and each was on for like 2-3 episodes … tae and his friend went to get massages, went to like a skatepark, then to eat and look out at a view and chat

“The most beautiful moment in life” album series was so full of emotions so that’s why this ep is soo emotional and is kinda the album series that put bts actually on the map which drew in a lot of fans from general public and then wings came and bam they started winning major awards but I think the hyyh album series was when they themselves really saw actual substantial results and it always remains a very iconic era for them
No matter how many times I watch these moments they always make me tear up, especially every time they sing young forever, this song always makes me emotional

I don't know if you noticed but even in their featured work they always mention " of bts" "feat RM of BTS" or "Jungkook of BTS" etc. To remember us that the artist is a member of a group called BTS.
I've never seen anyone watch these scenes and hold back tears. To tell you the truth, I cried. The fact that they do their best to make us feel good in so much fatigue, in so much difficulty, even though it really makes me happy. I still feel sorry for them. I can't believe you guys haven't heard Agust D! It's lifechanging stuff, especially his mixtape called D2. I would highly recommend listening to the entire mixtape in one sitting. Also, Agust D, D2, and Agust D's recent album called D-Day are a trilogy btw and it's where you can see the other side of Suga that he doesn't often showcase in BTS songs.
This ep gets me every time. And by the time that letter came to fruition, they were already the biggest band in the world. That’s why they sung young forever at Wembley stadium. And on another note, I miss MySpace. Lol 😆
You should definitely watch their whole Epilogue concert, You will really appreciate the live band and their performance was amazing considering they are in their early years. You won't believe it's a 2-3 year old group. If you don't know them you will think they are a group who is already doing it for years because of their stage presence. Btw that Baepsae performance and their ending ment was from there.

that episode with JK and Minwoo is so nice and wholesome, Minwoo really was so encouraging and nice to JK. I think the show is called Celebros but i could be remembering wrong.
They worked sooo hard that at their 4th year it was when they were thinking of breaking apart: I think it was exhaustion. They endured it and gladly we are so happy and I think so are they. Now taking a break and doing personal stuff is so healthy. I cannot stop thinking about a comeback sooooooo epic that it will blow our minds and hearts.

I love this episode. BTS don’t feed their ego. All these years they stayed humble and sincere. Whenever they achieve something they don’t think because they are good individually reason they move up. They always think its because of Army’s love and support and they are always grateful. The love between BTS and Army is amazing. They lift each other up. Its not an idol-fan relationship, its a family. I Love love love this episode. Good job guys
