Most dolphins can swim faster than the average boat, Winter can barely swim faster than a person (45km/h vs 5km/h). If she was put in the ocean, predators would catch her within a few days. She'd also be way to slow to ever catch fish and so she'd starve. TL;DR: Shut up.

But it is against nature. Give them more peace than al the time shows for money, who they saving? Keep money to help her, not to help them with shows. Winter was not injured naturally, she was caught in a net. I don't object to helping wild animals, humans do enough harm, and if we can undo some of that harm, we have to. All I object to is keeping her in a tank, she needs to be in an ocean sea pen.

Winter's such a pretty dolphin. I do feel bad that her tail was in terrible condition when that crab trap was wrapped around it. But she had such an amazing recovery.

Yes she did. in 2013 she died it's so sad she was deaf I think she got really sick also she was old. I went to this aquarium in 2012 and saw winter and panema then also hope.
If they animal is sick no facility would ask them to do any behavior that wasnt medically based...plus with the training used they can refuse to participate and they still get fed....

She did in Clearwater Marine Aquarium in Tampa Beach Florida. I got to play with her almost 2 years ago!
