It isn't. As people have said: the head sweat runs straight down. When older bald buys in my HIIT group forgot their sweatbands, I didn't envy them: they had to wipe their sweat out of their eyes constantly...! Also: yes, tempeature control is very limited, so you might need to wear a hat for running...

I remember when my little sister went through this stage after shaving her hair. You get so so much volume as the top continues to grow out. Her hair almost defies gravity at some times. I loved having a giggle with you in this video

Flatten it forward with a little gel or something then when it’s dry (which shouldn’t take long) use some wax or pomade to mess it up a little. Wax or pomade will help add texture and in my opinion when I’ve had super short hair ... it looked it’s best a week or two after I’d bleach it because the roots made it look less bald and more textured. Love all your styles. You truly rock them all.

I know that it's probably because it's short and therefore more noticable, but your hair grows fast! It has grown alot in a short amount of time I think. Also: "this hair is so ugly!"😂 I don't know why but I found that funny.
I can understand you! When I shaved my hair for first time in a month it grew about a centimeter and it was practically impossible to style and I felt I had to shave it constantly in order to look "good". After a couple of months of letting it grow I got a nice pixie cut and now I'm pretty happy with it! It's only a matter of time. Now you look great and surely in a few months it will be much better!

I think it’s better and closer to what you wanted for a fade, but I agree that not touching the top and just letting it grow will be better (and thank god for hats! Even with my undercut I wear hats to hide when it gets to the weird length)

I shaved my head a couple weeks before you and when my hair was at that length (still kind of is lol) I would brush it down with a boar bristle brush right after the shower when it’s wet! Then it drys without sticking up as much :)

i've had buzzed hair for the past 2 years almost (growing out now) and yes i have to agree that the in between poof length is the absolute worst! i was never able to flatten it down and always looked like a fluffy hedgehog XD if you continue to grow it there will constantly be gross and also nice stages on and off ... at least in my experience ^^ (i currently look like i have a mullet yay -_-)
Despite the risk of choppy hair, I think I'd go for a dark color to counter the bald effect. I actually enjoyed the puffyness on the top after you shaved the bottom parts, it looked like a proper crew cut :) Even better after styling though! I think it came out really good.
I have “flatten” my hair also. It’s thick/coarse and now that it’s short I wrap my hair and then once it’s in place I had hair products. Gotta love those awkward short hair stages
a tip is to use a scarf/piece of fabric that you tie over your hair kinda tight to mold your hair with some product in it :) gives a nice sleek look, and it holds if you wear it while you get ready or if you wear it over night. I did that even at a slightly shorter length than what you have now. Just a tip, im growing out a zero guard buzz and its an.. experience so i appreciate your videos they give me some support :)
That's a pretty good first effort as it's not an easy style to master. If I looked as good as you do with a skinhead though I'd just buzz it all off again and run the clippers over it every few days so you don't have to go through the full haircut process. And with your head shape, cheekbones and style I'd definitely try a smooth shave as well - probably best to leave that to a barber though. You'll look like a bit of a dreamboat but you'll probably love the experience.

That is indeed a difficult length, right? But it grows so fast, it will be ok soon. And honestly, you can rock any length. When the hair was freshly bleached and was still fluffy and sticking up, you kinda looked like a cute little chicken 😍🐣 Oh and btw, I NEVER understood how people can get upset about someone doing things to their own hair. It's just hair. And it's your head - you can do whatever you decide, right?

Honestly, cutting short hair is waaaaay harder than long hair. It just takes some practice. I used to practice and if i messed up id just shave it again. Its so convenient when u get the hang of it. Also a wax or something on wet hair will help flatten it out, using a hat will make it too flat all over.

Hi Katrin, I've been a follower for a while now and really hope this doesn't come off as offensive!! But I have to ask, why is there a need to bleach your hair? Unless you've been doing so for years, you've looked like a natural Swedish blonde as long as I can remember. Either way, love the short hair look and love your content ♥♥♥

Only ‘cause I love the super light/white color. I don’t mind my natural but I think the white looks cooler 😊 and since I’m keeping my hair short, I don’t have to worry about damage too much.
It actually doesn’t look that bad in the “before and after” part. And when you style it I personally would flatten as much as possible on one side. Similar as you tried to do. Maybe with a really strong hair gel.
When you bleach, cover it in a plastic cap or plastic wrap to hold the heat in and keep the bleach moist. Let it sit on for twenty minutes or so. When my hair was like yours, twenty minutes was always enough, especially considering my ends were already so light. Use something moisturizing to style (like a pomade). Put the pomade on dry hair, and sort of scrunch it in. Don't try to flatten your hair. Just let it be sort of messy.
@@Katrinberndt, I had short, bleached hair for a long time. I'd usually use a #3 or #4 guard (I think it was) when I shaved it. Pomade, though, was always a big help, or some type of conditioning hairdressing. I didn't ever like anything sticky. I didn't mean to tell you what to do. I just wanted to share what worked for me. maybe you could put some hairspray on a comb and brush the top of your hair forward to try and stop the bald affect? maybe?? i dunno whatever works lol
When you style it, I would use a clay product, not a gel. It will hold more and it's a matte finish. The shiner the top is, the more bald it looks. If you use a gel, put it everywhere even if you dont need hold on the sides, so at least it looks shiny everywhere. Definitely style to the side and if you can, have the front down a bit and make it piecey, like Katy Perry's hair. But it looks like you have cowlicks in the front so you may have to style it more up and to the side.

I think you should try really soft hazelnut coloured hair or like ginger-hazelnutty color hair with this length it would look amazing!

You should try not using shampoo for a while. It makes the hair less "fluffy"

But I have to ask, why is there a need to bleach your hair? Unless you've been doing so for years, you've looked like a natural Swedish blonde as long as I can remember.

Only ‘cause I love the super light/white color. I don’t mind my natural but I think the white looks cooler 😊 and since I’m keeping my hair short, I don’t have to worry about damage too much.
It actually doesn’t look that bad in the “before and after” part.
And when you style it I personally would flatten as much as possible on one side. Similar as you tried to do. Maybe with a really strong hair gel.

You should try finger waves, they can be pretty hard to do at first but it'll look great when done well.

When you bleach, cover it in a plastic cap or plastic wrap to hold the heat in and keep the bleach moist. Let it sit on for twenty minutes or so. When my hair was like yours, twenty minutes was always enough, especially considering my ends were already so light. Use something moisturizing to style (like a pomade). Put the pomade on dry hair, and sort of scrunch it in. Don't try to flatten your hair. Just let it be sort of messy.

@@Katrinberndt, I had short, bleached hair for a long time. I'd usually use a #3 or #4 guard (I think it was) when I shaved it. Pomade, though, was always a big help, or some type of conditioning hairdressing. I didn't ever like anything sticky. I didn't mean to tell you what to do. I just wanted to share what worked for me. maybe you could put some hairspray on a comb and brush the top of your hair forward to try and stop the bald affect? maybe?? i dunno whatever works lol
When you style it, I would use a clay product, not a gel. It will hold more and it's a matte finish. The shiner the top is, the more bald it looks. If you use a gel, put it everywhere even if you dont need hold on the sides, so at least it looks shiny everywhere.
Definitely style to the side and if you can, have the front down a bit and make it piecey, like Katy Perry's hair. But it looks like you have cowlicks in the front so you may have to style it more up and to the side.
I have used a clay/wax for weeks. Didn’t make much of a difference in my opinion but maybe it does.
