Thanks for your lovely comment, a late friend of our family would use a screw driver. A man I learnt a lot from... he used to say "There's more than one way to skin a cat"
I wish that I had been somewhat mechanically minded when I was younger and at home on the farm - I would have tackled these jobs. Another mighty video, keep up the great work
Good video, my tip is when pouring from a 5 gallon drum turn it backwards and you’ll have no spillage or splashing. I learned the hard way lol, got soaked in diesel more times than I care to remember.
Great vid👍 Was just going to service mine next week or so..!, mines a 98 with a q720 loader, almost identical, have it less than a year and it’s been great. Looking forward to the vid on the back end oil as well...👍
@@Dan-HongTong Mines going great so far, have it a year and a half. Hot in the summer and noisy but has been 100% reliable. There are definitely a few lemons out there like anything. Good servicing and the correct oil in the back end and she’s happy as it’s a simple machine. There a non turbo too so not as prone to issues as the 4240. I would recommend yes 👍
Case Should have mounted the oilfilterholder uppside down, saving oilspilling, and to make ity possible to prime the new filter. Very good and instructive video for us old Case owners, thanks for Your effort
Hi Declan Found this really useful, so thanks. You mentioned at the end about filming the transmission oil/oil filter side of things etc Is that on the horizon at all?
Great video. Just about to do my 4230, would be interested in seeing you do the hydraulic system. How easy is it to get access under the bonnet? I need to replace the fan belt on mine and it looks like a bugger of a job with very little access.
Not sure I like the fuel filter position ;). I like to use semi-synthetic for the hydraulic oil, until you break a line and lose a lot of fluid! It seems the synthetic helps with shifts and reduces hydraulic issues. Thanks.
Hi, how wide are the front fender on your tractor? I have same tractor as you, but i dont have front fenders. I was thinking of instal universal model front fenders, but i dont know know if wide ones would be good?
Yes it’s standard practice on all tractors, diggers etc. Moisture from the tank collects in the bottom of the filters usually so open the tap to release it. Some machines will have a tap on the bottom of the tank if not on the filters
Declan u brought a smile to my face when u said to punch through with a screwdriver.. my late father always done that.

Another great video Declan. That really is a sweet tractor, nice size and lots of horses. 💪
Fendt s better
Great tutorial for the Case 4230. Sound advice for most any machinery too. Great shot looking down from the straight pipe in the air filter section.
Good to give her a service, love to see the 265 next!👍🏻
Great video dec .Its a great tutorial.Sorry I missed the premiere.

Great stuff Dec, need to keep on top of the maintenance
Brilliant video Declan. Very well done and explained. Super stuff as always 👍
Good video again my friend. If you look after them they look after you. They do look big when the loader is off
Very good video Declan 👍🏻 Would you be servicing the 265? If you are can you do a video of you servicing that tractor?
Great vid👍

Great service job Declan. Have u a slurry vid coming up?

Did you buy the case new? Great video Declan
It will be running like a clock after all that👍 brackets always makes things tricky
Hi Declan
Found this really useful, so thanks. You mentioned at the end about filming the transmission oil/oil filter side of things etc

We’re just after draining the gearbox and back end oil in our 4000 after she was mixing slurry. Left her draining for the night.
Have done the Hidraulic ?oil change you can share the video
Does the oil in the biogas box heat up for you during hard work and then slowly raises the lift

I see you bought the air filter off sparex
What do you mean by"releasing the water" from the fuel filters? Is that normal?
Yes it’s standard practice on all tractors, diggers etc. Moisture from the tank collects in the bottom of the filters usually so open the tap to release it. Some machines will have a tap on the bottom of the tank if not on the filters
There's no need to change the coolant
I've got 18 points on my next joint to be the king to make a dill......
I do agri can u please do a video on what u need to start off with your own herd of cattle like what you need for calves starting off
A good shed with a couple pens in it some cows and a bull
Amazing ! Well done!
Genuine hour’s yeah was it parked up all it’s life
Thats a really akward place for air filter that should be cleaned daily in heavy work
Case should be shot for putting that filter upside down like that 🙄
