You are killing me, flying at Sandwich harbor is forbiden! It was the best soaring spot in the world. I flew there following your video it was truly a unforgettable experience. So disapointed.
@@GuillaumeBroust life happens. A trip to Peru got me interested in paragliding and hoping to add it to my travels. My other hobby of scuba diving is a lot more limited in good places to go

well it certainly seems like a safer place to learn, and after twisting my ankle on a Rock, ripping my wing up around the fence, ending up in the tree. Looks like Sand is a little softer
That looks like the area south of Walvis Bay. That's where one of the worlds longest surfable wave rides are. Check it out on Google and Google Earth. I know they teach paragliding just north of Walvis Bay on the dunes.

Guillaume Broust am 100% sure, there is a conflict with low altitude flight of Cessnas transiting between Big mama and Walvis bay... I was there in Dec last year, contact guys there they will tell U more about it...

Yeah I updated the text on my video, after receiving some news about the flying restrictions. Sossusvlei is now forbidden too. Quite sad....

we flew in Swakopmund (north of walvis bay) and sandwich harbour (down south) and yeah there is some great surfing there! (but great sharks too!)
