- Today I finished rebuilding the 1990 Kawasaki ZZR1100 and it's ready for the road again. Blood, sweat and coffee have gone into getting this sorted out and I've done loads of stuff like rebuilding the gearbox that I've never tackled before. Today is a GOOD day 😁👍

It may well be bit seemed to charge to the point it started again under its own steam.later on... I may end up getting another one though 😁
One thing most people forget/don't bother is to change the colour on the log book. I have never done it cos I'm lazy but a roadside stop by the rozzers could be awkward.

That's was a rubber grommet that was too big that I left sitting on the bike when I ran it up matey 🤣😂

Tis all together at last mate .. optionmates are ok over a long period as they only a trickle charger .. great to keep em topped up but about as useful as a chocolate fireguard for charging quick from flat . Sounding good looking good hope 5th works and we dont get to see strip down no 4 lol

Optimate usually just good for trickle charging. A bespoke charger or jump pack better for fast charging.
I've got a jumper pack on the way now matey 👍
I have an optimate and a zzr1100. If I don’t keep it plugged in the battery will go flat after about 1 week.
Probably time for a new battery matey, that ain't right.... 😁
