On Sleeved cards fitting in the box: I think that some people are underestimating the amount of extra bulk that sleeves add. I stacked up 70 mtg cards, and the pile measured 2cm. I put them in Ultra Pro sleeves, and the pile measured 4.1cm (compressed a little bit). With 750 or so cards in the core box, that would be a pile 44cm (17+ inches) high if the card stock is about the same. That’s a lot of extra space! I understand why it’s not feasible in a box that’s already oversized and jam-packed to the brim. Maybe AR could offer a KS add-on for a cool extra box to store sleeved cards? 🤘
gesto211 use BCW inner sleeve. They said ultra pro perfect fit wouldn’t fit on lords of hellas cards, but BCW does. Occasionally they are a tiny bit short, but I use them on so many card games that fit them, that I just save those for other games. I talk about these so much BCW should hire me. I’m a premium sleeve person unless it fits perfectly as a standard sleeve. I also highly recommend their mini euros, which I find to fit better than mayday (too wide) or FFG (too tall). 5% off first order, free shipping at $80. Sadly the inner sleeve is the only thinner sleeves they make and it’s only for poker sized cards. After that I mainly use mayday on sale days or Gameplus from miniatures market. Right now the only Problem* with Hellas is their weird size for the mini cards and really being unable to fit things back in the box without having to put armyminiatures in plastic bags-ew lol, but the quality of their miniatures, inserts and customer service just keeps getting better and better. I fully support them. Oh yeah, I guess the only other problem was how deep the wash got into Apollo’s arm sockets. No offense to their video, but they either ‘rocked and pulled’ a fresh apollo or dare a I say ‘prepared it’. I’m going with #1-either way, the whole buildable monuments + sundropping was an extremely risky move on this scale and while I usually like to paint my own minis, It’s a great option for those who refuse that part of the hobby. Wow I’m off topic-but seriously, they are doing some great stuff and it really looks like they care about you even AFTER shipping your product. Thanks for the unboxing and for making room for sleeves!

there are a million videos on TH-cam on painting minis, especially for beginners. It's not very difficult, you just need to be happy with what you can do at the start and not try to be a professional painter.
Painting minis skill is not something you are good at from the very beginning. Experience is what makes you good at it. So paint, paint and paint a little bit more, and you will get there ;)
Sleeved cards don't fit in the box. Pity. I would've also prefered a hard-cover Exploration Journal instead of ring-bound. Other than that, I have no complaints :) 9/10 🌟
No. There are a lot of cards. With sleeves on this would take a lot of extra space. This would mean AR would have to make a bigger core box. This would increase the shipping price which would have been unfair to all the backers who do not sleeve their cards.
I don't believe there is one of the journal, but you wouldn't want that because it is full of spoilers! There is, however, the rulebook pdf, in Dev. Update #6 under all the combat/diplomacy cards, which was not shown off in this video, though that is still prototype.
I think there might eventually be a pdf version of the Journal. I don’t recall exactly where, but I vaguely remember them mentioning one. However, if there is going to be one, they definitely haven’t sent it out yet, considering they mention in the video that it is still undergoing revisions
The rulebook has some pictures that were given as desktop backgrounds, but it also has all the rules and stuff lol. I assume you want the journal pdf for the art, but like I said before I don't think it is available right now.
@@boom34z55 perhaps I'm thinking of the wrong thing 😅 I'd like the actual adventure textbook (so I can ctrl+f and stuff when I eventually have this physical game), maybe that's not the journal
The monster minis are a little over-wrought and look like a bunch of spiky, wrinkly messes, but the rest of it looks positively outstanding! Wildly exceeds expectations.
Dice! Dices is not a word. Please make sure this is corrected in the current KS page of Etherfields as well, especially in the final documentation and components!
It actually is a word! The chef "dices" the onions. Or, in slang, for example, "I watch in amazement as Jim dices John in a game of backgammon." Meaning that Jim beats John mainly due to lucky dice rolls. But, yes you are correct regarding these games ... I'm just having fun.
My goodness. He is from poland. They hire professionals for the game so that it will have a flawless translation. That one mistake on the ks page Will not change the fact, that etherfields will be great.
Too bad some of the card's back doesn't suit the art-style of the game, like the combat cards for example but well, it's your choice, and in overall looks nice. Can't wait to start playing it.
In what way don’t you think it suits the art of the game? Personally I think it is very immersive and connected to the art and lore of the game. Do you have any examples of cards you like/don’t like.

No. There are a lot of cards. With sleeves on this would take a lot of extra space. This would mean AR would have to make a bigger core box. This would increase the shipping price which would have been unfair to all the backers who do not sleeve their cards.
Is there a pdf version of the journal? I forgot if its in the updates we've already been sent or not
I don't believe there is one of the journal, but you wouldn't want that because it is full of spoilers!
@@boom34z55 is that the one with the desktop backgrounds and stuff? I have those lol. I'll look tonight when home. Thanks
FYI Niamh is pronounced like "Neev"...
Neev or Ni-uv
Gloomhaven killer
Nah, very different games.
That one mistake on the ks page Will not change the fact, that etherfields will be great.
dacav agreed
Too bad some of the card's back doesn't suit the art-style of the game, like the combat cards for example but well, it's your choice, and in overall looks nice. Can't wait to start playing it.
In what way don’t you think it suits the art of the game? Personally I think it is very immersive and connected to the art and lore of the game. Do you have any examples of cards you like/don’t like.
The gameboard looks fantastic. Thank you for share this video; just one thing: change your cameraman. He/she doesn't work well!
Had to down vote. Simply because this game is not available unless you got in on the kickstarter. Sorry
If it were up to me, you'd shoot this video again.
