I literally can not believe I am in Japan right now! This is the very first instalment of my solo travel adventures and so far - it's been incredible! I did so much stuff in Tokyo (it was chaotic!) so I was very appreciative of the time away from the big city to spend some time in Mount Fuji. Japan is literally on another level and if you ever get the chance to visit then I fully recommend it.
For those of you that are new here:
Hello! My name is Alex and I was previously and English Teacher at 2 elementary schools in Daegu, South Korea. I am now currently solo traveling the world (for as long as my money will last me!) and wanted to document my adventures for my friends and family back home.

Alex, I love your videos, they make me so happy. I started watching because I was interested in teaching English in Korea and I’m also a lesbian so it was nice to see a queer youtuber making videos about that specific subject. I’m not sure if I’ll become an English teacher abroad (maybe, maybe not) but I’m really excited for you to pursue your interests beyond teaching and share your travels with the world. You’re such an inspiration!

The moment you were crying was so heartwarming! I know exactly how that kind of euphoria can feel - it happened to me once when hiking in South America. It's so incredible to see how you are really appreciating and taking advantage of life. Those tears of joy are something so beautiful that I think not everyone gets to experience.
