Greetings, interwebs! If you have found yourself in this corner of TH-cam because of Netflix’s truly awful Persuasion adaptation, the creators of this video invite you to rest here, weary and woeful traveller. We have witnessed a butchering of unprecedented brutality, upon our poor Anne. Human eyes aren’t meant to witness such carnage. Godspeed, friends, and good luck.
This is honestly one of the best, most clear and less confusing summaries I've seen in all of the internet. The only one that hasn't given me a headache
I have an exam of basically everything in the history of english literature in like two days and I wanted to poison myself because reading all the jane austen summaries I was like wtf bitch I can't tell which novel is which they all sound the same but but butt this channel is giving me life - "if at first you don't succeed try again in 8 years" HAHA P.S. also wow the visuals are truly a work of art
See this summary makes sense, but I have to read this book for an English research paper this semester and I can barely get through 2 pages without spacing out and getting bored
Yeeeeeeeees. What I needed after trying to both read it and then emmersion read it with an audio track playing thru headphones while my kids watched dinosaur something in the same room. Too many words. Always just too many words. You called it "..." would have sufficed for at least a third of the book. And how terrible I felt when I friend said "Oh I love Jane Austen" and I thought "I don't" - until now. And you have given me permission to not like here. ha ha Thank you.
Thanks for making this! I have to understand this book for a book club next week and even though I’m 70% done with the book I don’t understand what’s going on or why this book is important or loved by my book club so much lol
Didn't read any Jane Austen ever, have watched many a movie depiction, came here to find what the significance of cpn went worth buying that estate for a wedding gift at the end was? Guess she gets her childhood manor back. The feckin rich not even good eating too sick and scrawny.

Me watching this pretending I haven’t read this book 4 times 🤣😭
This was a really great summary though. Loved the Mrs. Smith bit 🤣
Your handle is hilarious 😂 🌮
I place this one between the 2007 version & the 1991 version in terms of script, photography, costume & general ambience.

your narration is so funny!
Well....you gave the best explanation....thank you!
I still think Rupert Penry-Jones is a more handsome Captain Wentworth than your illustration of him. Maybe if you gave him blonde hair?
Awesome! Thank you!
This is epic saves me reading more then I have to for English
