[Synopsis]
In this video, I do a review video on the Retroflag GPI Case 2W portable video game console case with a Raspberry Pi Zero 2W single board computer. The Retroflag GPI Case 2W can use a Raspberry Pi Zero, Raspberry Pi Zero W, or a Raspberry Pi Zero 2W SBC.
I do a small comparison between the original Retroflag GPI Case and the new Retroflag GPI Case 2W. I also do a unboxing of the Retroflag GPI Case 2W to show you what it comes with. I show you how to setup, and use the Retroflag GPI Case 2W with a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 SBC.

The tutorial is great! Also I was installing the wrong safe shutdown script which messed up the audio (very low + hissing) - in your vid you show the correct script. After a complete wipe and reinstall everything is working perfectly.
Hey this is a great tutorial!
Any idea why I might not be getting anywhere when I type in \\Retropie or \\ip address? Nothing pops up after that.
Did you put in the script to log into your network, so you could connect to your network?
hello great tutorial. I have the same case but the sound doesn't work
It should just work. You can adjust the sound knob.
Mame and Neogeo won't play, says it is missing the bios. I don't know where to get them or where to install them
Here is a video that might help kiddo. th-cam.com/video/5PK6OKm0wm8/w-d-xo.html
Great tutorial! Thank you. Im having troubles transferring my Roms, my PC doesn't located my Retroflag GPI case. I'm connected to the wifi, I can see my IP adress, but when I type it in the file explorer bar, it doesn'd find it, any ideas why or how to fix this?
You can type in
\\Retropie
OR
\\192.168.1.1XX
into Windows Explorer.
Thanks for the tutorial, it allowed me to install it. I have a small problem with the case the directional cross seems to have a lot of loose. It's complicated to play with, does it do it to you too?
My d-pad is not loose.
Thanks.
@@alphonso11155 No problem.
Nice video! I am building a system for my nephew. I first tried the recommended Recalbox, but I could not get the hotkey to work. It was suppose to work out of the box. That's why I'm exploring RetroPie as an alternative. Thanks for the wpa supplicant tip. I didn't know you could do this. Otherwise, it would be a pain to get networking and install the shutdown script without it. In the past, one could create an empty /boot/ssh file to enable the SSH server. I wonder if that still works? Curious about how you deal with cooling. That zero 2w gets warm just idling.
It doesn't get that hot, it gets a little warm.
You could put a small thermal pad heatsink amzn.to/3HXWQIC .
