I think you allowed the bad experience at the front desk/check in to ruin your experience in the other areas which was not good. RIU is a lovely hotel with very friendly staff and nice surroundings.
Well we’ve been there multipleee times and knew what we were getting into. We did say that we had a good time... just not the best.. The check in was our problem, and rightly so.
It’s a friendly place yes, but I can see why people wouldn’t like it AND I can also see why some love it
@Jodian Nevins Speak for yourself; every has their own experience and are entitled to their own opinion; just as you have stated “ your opinion “. So.. I understand her frustration. Riu and other places in Jamaica are known for a bad reputation of terrible customer service. Just go online and read the reviews. So it depends on the individual you’re dealing with. People travel far to come there; some people have long journeys to get to their destination; they won’t a smooth process when they arrive. Not nasty attitudes and discrepancies because you’re not following the companies policy. She’s only sharing her experience. Like she said she only visit there for her followers. -BIGUPS to this beautiful Queen who uploaded this video for us. Keep the videos coming SUS. Respek❤

@@MeggsandAlena I agree, we've been to all but one RIU and have never had an "incident " free time. We enjoyed ourselves because we decided to make the best out of our stays. RIU is not for us 😂
Thank you so much @Julie B. I’m wondering if they don’t think sometimes. We literally rated riu so low in our list, no to mention everyone knows it’s not luxury, we just wanted content. I don’t see how there’s something wrong with paying my money and making a big deal when they will not let me in. the man literally said, if I hadn’t done that, they wouldn’t have taken us, AND WE PAID IN FULL. People just want to say negative stuff. They come here to see the hotel and people’s experience and want to be lied to. They want to hear that everything is great so that when they come here, they are delusional. And sometimes it comes down to their lack of experiences. They don’t know what is owed to them as a paying customer at these resorts. That’s what we are here trying to show and tell and they think we are bashing a hotel we have absolutely no ties to and couldn’t care less about..

We have no problem with RIU. I guess everyone has their issues.
We truthfully enjoyed our time, except for the check in. But it’s not our “go to” resort. We can see why someone would like or dislike it

& We did, probably it wasn’t in some of the clips because this went on for about 1-2 hours. But we did and they were just as difficult as the hotel tbh so it just wasn’t looking positive till the manager came. Happy it worked out in the end though

I don’t normally do this.. but Big man, refrain from typing your fuckry assumptions on my channel. Nobody had any argument, nor do we go there with any expectations or agendas. We paid our money and weren’t being let in, you blind or dumb? I didn’t even look at the hotel before I went, and I’ve been there over 10 times before the renovation. This is our experience and we videoed what happened, with no agenda, if you don’t like it, just cut and Nuh bother with the negativity
Chileee..this hotel has always been the GHETTO 🤣🤣!! Not even on a free trip would i ever go back there. The only thing good there is the Waterpark, everything else is GROSS!

One of my favourite resort. Love the vibe I get when I go there, that authentic Jamaica vibe.
That's y I don't like there that much it's too much people. I call it the Jamaican 5 star Ghetto Hotel🤭
She just seem miserable bad n never read her terms n conditions every know if it says present card so it’s obviously the physical card u need
not every hotel has the same rules.
