I love Dream Theater's whole discography but that first album for me is like a pure magic. It is so different and has that magic touch. I can't explain it. Maybe it was Dominici's voice, maybe a youth creaziness in this compositions. I don't know. But it has special vibe to me, so different to anything they did after.
WOW!! What a surprising treat! Absolutely awesome and inspiring, y’all! I love how learning DT stuff pushes me to develop my playing chops :) PS: Johan, that guitar neck is breathtaking! (Along with the playing, of course!) 🤘🔥 PPS: Nick, just read the description and I’m doubly inspired by the passion and time you put into this. Ive dreamed of being able to do a cover like this, ill get there one day!
DT songs have a way of pushing you to get better, for sure! Keep pushing those boundaries and you'll get there, slowly but surely. 😀 Thank you so much for the kind words!
I've been kinda obsessed with this song lately, Amazing job everyone ! I was curious clicking on this about the voice since it's so peculiar on this song, and you absolutely killed it. Truly an underrated DT track, Thank you so much, i feel lucky i found this video :)
It's funny that you say that, because one of my Dad's friends was the one that first introduced me to DT not long after ACOS was released. I think it was a little much for me to handle at that age, but I came back to ACOS in college (SDOIT era) and it totally blew me away again.
@@BassMeister17I agree that DT's definitely has to grow on you. The musical pay off is definitely worth it. I first heard Pull Me Under back in 93. My life has changed forever since. I've seen them at least 20 times and met them personally 3 times. Once with Portnoy and twice with Mangini.
Not totally, I´m "old" too LOL first time finding DT was in 1996, I was 16 and my first DT live was 1998 during a heavy metal festival Monsters of Rock, time flies 😮
Kevin moree is my favourite ❤️now what is her name please?you guys are awesome 🤘Its not easy to sing like a Dominici and Labriee they are incredibly God gifted specially James labriee 's live performance was awesome in 1992 to 1995nobody can sing like that ❤️🤘but you guys covered very nicely 🤘❤️
love this version! Have been listening a bit to the WDADR-U version lately.
Thank you algo. You all effing slayed that. One of my favorite DT songs.
Such an underrated song in their catalogue! Glad to see some appreciation for it. Well covered!

Great cover of an epic tune from the “sad bass” days!

Yes! You guys did the guitar solo from When Dream and Day Re-Unite! That's the best version of this song and you guys pretty much nailed it!

I was probably hearing this song before some of y'all were born! 🤣🤣 The Live at the Marquette version is probably the best version.

Unlikely for me. Also some of us know that the club that live album was recorded at is called the “Marquee”
The best version cover and love the extended version added from you guys!
Thank you! ❤️
They were young and inspired.
Amazing cover!
As I get closer, was it really worth, what I have learned?
Que buen trabajo
Very goooddd...❤❤❤

Thank you! I totally agree that LaBrie is right up there with the best, especially in the early 90s! All the info is in the description 😀
Missing Keyboard "attack" with String Hit At the beginning of the song ... But still, spectacular Split Screen Cover !
very nice!
It's a pity that the sound of the microphone of the vocals is a bit overdriven...
did you guys cover this based on 2002 Budapest live version?
That is indeed the version we used! It was based off of that and mostly the When Dream And Day Reunite version.
Amazing instrumentals, really awesome. I don't like the voice tone, but it's just my personal taste.
Its really good, but I could barely hear your bass in the mix Nick. Might just be the phone speakers though. Can't even hear the bass solo.
Definitely give it a listen with some speakers or headphones that have better bass. You'll definitely hear it. :)
