Leyla's lack of power is being compensated by her tenacity, and her will to fight every match like Nadal in certain way. I'm really happy, she is proving me wrong. I really wish her keep winning and winning, since she is a good girl, and fun to watch.

Yes she doesn't have natural power but she generates her power by taking the ball early and hugging the baseline that is how she's able to go toe to toe with power hitters

Leylah is silently progressing in Grand Slam. First time to reach 2nd week of RG2022. That's wow👏🙌, keep grinding as always. Leylah's appeal and A-Game in RG stage might be like US Open eventhough I love seeing her hoisting Trophy in WTA 1000 or 500 events which is always unfortunate for her because she exits very early. Wishing 🙏 Leylah all the best this 2nd GS of the season for her ranking to move up. She's good in clay too her mental toughness/flexibility in 3 sets is a thrill and treat to watch. Rooting for LF and ND in this RG 2022 Season✌🙂.

The difference between the men and the women shaking hands after a match is amazing. The men greet each other with real appreciation of the other's efforts and skill, they give the other some pats on the shoulder or back, a hug, some words of consolation or encouragement. The women can hardly bring themselves to touch hands most of the time. Anybody else notice this?

Răducanu played 3 matches to qualify on the main draw, after which she got lucky that the AO finalist, Jennifer Brady (13), retired, so she got in the first round a lucky loser (Voegele) followed by-Zhang-SorribesTormo-Rogers-Bencic(11)-Sakari(17). So as you can see Leylah eliminated 3 top 10 players (Osaka-4GS, Svitolina & Sabalenka multiple WTA 1000 winners) and one top 20 (Kerber -3GS)...Leylah got into the final with limited physical, emotional an psychological resources, while Emma got there fresh as a daisy..

She may not have the strongest shots, but she’s calculated and smart, plus huge mental toughness. Bencic had a few set points in the first set and she wouldn’t give up. Same thing with being down 0-2 in the final set

Fernandez is an intriguing figure in that she is so small is status and looks like she is just out of primary school. She looks adorable but has a killer instinct. I am still shocked her and Radacanu made the US open final.

although Raducanu won the US Open over Leylah, I think it will be Leylah who has the better career. She seems to have more composure under pressure and overall seems better suited for the tour. I am starting to think Raducanu's win was a bit of a fluke, and am going to need to see better performances from her in order for her to prove she can win another Slam.

Leylah had 19-20hours court time at us open compared to Emma's 14-15hours. Leylah played doubles as well and it all caught up to her in the final being a bit more slow and not as sharp physically and mentally. Just like a marathon going up more hills is going to take a toll before the finish line
