Fall Foliage and Sunset Trains on Former Pan Am [4K HDR]

CSX's purchase of Pan Am has resulted in the arrival of more modern power, but thankfully most of Pan Am's older power is still around. Fall foliage provided a good backdrop for capturing standard cab leaders while they last.

Really liking the effect of the backlighting in a lot of these shots: 2:15, 3:05, and the going away shot at 12:10. For years we stayed away from that sort of light but now cameras have the dynamic range to really make those shots pop.

It's great that technology has opened up these sorts of shots to us. I actually seek them out around sunset because they can be so dramatic.
