I was an A4L plane captain. Been there, done that. We had a high power test stand that restrained the main gear. Used to blow huge chunks of sod out of the ground, past the edge of the concrete ramp.
Turbojets, by nature are very loud. I'll assume this bird is powered by the J-52-P6 or P8. I've worked on the A-4L, A-4E, A-4F and TA-4J. This is also the order, least loud to loudest. From J-65 to the J-52-P408. Could not believe how loud the 408 in the "Superfox" A-4F was inside the "Hush House" at NAS Miramar! (VFC-13) Some 11,000 pounds thrust! 2 were former Blue Angels birds By the way, where are your intake screens?
very cool! I participated in a couple of engine trims and it was always impressive! Of course, there was the one time when we had a VMFAT-101 Phantom next to us, with burners going! Holy cow.. !
Hey there, any chance of getting some reference photos for that GTC-85 ground huffer? I'm trying to recreate it for a simulation, and you guys are the only ones who have one, that I can find decent shots of. I've already gotten really far, just off the photos you have up.

great demo at the 2017 Hillsboro Oregon airshow
J-52?
You think an A4 is loud, try an F4 Phantom with 2 J79 or a B58 Hustler with 4 J79 Turbine Engines with Afterburners.
I call shotgun!
