Lets Read! I adore it channel, ur narrations, and especially, ur voice. It's so perfect for scary stories. I was happy that the 911 dispatcher got into trouble, because it's their job to get assistance to ppl in peril. I know that some folks like to prank them, but they're constantly telling callers to stay calm. It should've been appreciated, that the kid's dad was able to be calm, and not panicking or shouting, instead of being deemed not important, or due to police being needed to babysit ppl at a festival. Unfortunately, I had to go off on a dispatcher myself some years back. I went to a convenience store with my brother, the one cashier was being ignorant and pulled out a knife on my brother, and he was only sticking up for me without swearing or threatening physical harm to the crazy ass cashier. We left and when I called 911, the dispatcher asked me why was I at that store? I told her that, we don't know that fool cashier, it's our neighborhood store, and we've never had problems there. I told her that it wasn't up to her to decide if I'm right or wrong, because I didn't do anything bad, and was she the cashier's kin? I said that to her, because she didn't care that this fool had a knife, and was threatening to stab my brother. Lastly, I told her that she better send an officer, and that I would be talking to her supervisor. When the officer took us to point out the suspect, his boss fired him, because we was the fifth complaint. That dispatcher got fired also, because she was doing the same thing to other callers. Sorry for my essay, but that story reminded me of how the same thing happened to me.

Skinwalker and wendigo stories are the best!
A wendigo is a human who has turned into a monster (some ppl say they were never humans, depends), they can't ever go back to being a person again. A skinwalker can go back to being human because its a human who changes its 'skin' into an animal and shapeshifts.

No, its supposed to be human who has cannibalized another person and because of that, was turned into a horrible monster mix of animals with no soul. Its a native american myth, or reality if you believe in it.
This is just based off things I've heard. I know the Skinwalker is a southwest USA thing mostly, the Navajo people and such. I guess a wendigo is from the Algonquins near the great lakes and Canada. A Skinwalker is also always a shaman before they turn or so they say

Story 3 reminds me of the military guy camping in the desert who found clothing and heard someone calling from within a shallow canyon, only to be chased by something all the way back to the ranger station.
I don't remember which channel, or video I heard that story on.

After doing much research on Dogman, Wendios, Skinwalkers, Bigfoot and The Mothman it was easy to determine. Each of these crypitids have certain characteristics.@@jayrom14
I usually don't like paranormal stories, but for let's read I can make an exception.
I basically live right in front of some woods.. my back glass sliding glass door looks out to it and there's a single streetlight right behind a brick house owned by an elderly couple. Sometimes at night I look out and see what looks to be a large dog standing on back legs. I once saw it eating some kinda critter of the night. Never whistle at night. And if you do don't follow the whistles that follow yours. Don't follow the sound of a baby crying or a woman begging for help. It's a trap.
Lone wolves don't attack big prey like a horse, uch less a human on a horse, even les *2 humans on horses each*
Not even extreme hunger does that, also, wolves are social animals, the least number they are seen is 2. If wolves were to attck a human on a horse or a horse alone, they go in a pack, a half-ton horse can do severe damage even to a 10-wolf pack

Navajo folk lore says a skinwalker is a wicth that reached the highest priesthood but instead of using his powers for good they use them for evil by taking the form of animals and harming others(can also imitate human voices)

Yeah, except the horses aren't acting like horses. They are prey animals which means they'd be freaking out, trying to run, or trying to stomp the wolf into pate.

The wolf attacking the girl on the horse sounds like a Dogman- except for the collar, which is really odd.

That wolf/dog was obviously trained really well. I don't see Skinwalkers wearing collars however, I have read that certain breeds of dogs, most notably Dobermanns (lol doberMEN ...I keep wanting to say lol!, are apparently very quick on the uptake in so far as firearms are concerned. Apparently, if they have seen any gunfire, they won't subsequently tackle people who are armed and will sit down and let the armed person go. Apparently other breeds such as German Shepherds and others that are used by the police and armed forces are 'better' in these situations as they don't seem to think about their own safety (or are simply too loyal to their handler because all of these breeds are usually known for intelligence with only the Dobermann acting in this manner. .Also I don't know if every Doberman is so self interested, its only an article I read on behaviour of dogs with jobs.) Anyway I think the animal was probably awol from some security company or agency and was using its training and instincts to separate out the smaller and therefore (in its head anyway) weaker of two targets. I don't think it was starving or else it would have been more persistent and probably attempted to attack the horses when the people were gone. I do think it was doing a reconnaissance mission to gauge how difficult it would be to try to 'take' either a horse or the writer. I have no doubt that it had been trained with firearms or it wouldn't have reacted to them. Its quite scary. ..probably one of those Japanese Akido? I don't know exactly what they are called but they are fighting dogs and look like huge huskys...wolfish in other words.
I love your narration. I watched the monster project yesterday and it's very unique, interesting, and it catches you off guard. I recommend it
You know, the second story made me think. I know people get lost and die in the Scottish Mountains quiet a lot and although I know my surroundings wherever I've lived I've always explored extensively, both with and without my horse and sometimes just me and the dog or camping with the kids. I know my area and how to navigate it and stay alive in most conditions. You made me think about how huge the USA and Canada is and how it's almost impossible for anyone to know the whole of certain areas. Take the mountains for instance, I think there may well be lots of things living in inaccessible and inhospitable areas of your country. This is quite frightening with satellites and all that, but if something was nocturnal and living in areas like this, I'm fairly sure it could go undetected by us indefinitely. Imagine that its intelligent, I mean to say we've had a few big cats that have been set loose around the Highlands for the last three decades. The deer are so overpopulated that they cull them every year and with a hunting range of a hundred or so kilometres its no wonder that these exotic escapes have bred and are possibly 3-4 generations on from the original animals. If this happens in Scotland which would fit into most of your States (probably more than once) imagine what could be out there that nobody has conclusive proof of. If it's more intelligent than the wolf or a bear or big cat it could avoid us forever, unless it wants contact and I get the feeling from your folk tales and urban legends that it's not particularly well disposed towards us. I'm not the sort of person who comes out with stuff like this usually without proof, but if you think about it, it's not outside the realms of possibility that there are some species still unrecorded. I just don't know if it's because they are intelligent enough to stay out of site or not. It's just too many people have had similar encounters over too long a period.

As a cathlic, pegan, who also has a native American bloodline, I find these stories to be interesting, even before I figured out I had native American blood I was always drawn to specifically windigo and skinalkers. They were always fascinating to me, and I guess it kindof makes sense to me why I was and why I've been drawn to many things spiritul. The first one is definitely b.s. the phone falls face down so it's dark. Except the flash on a cellphone is on the back with the always more powerful camera. Some phones do have a "flash" effect on the front screen but that's not what any flashlight app uses for illumination. Also this creature can't master speech after being surrounded by people but just naturally knows how to drive? Uhhh no.

If a skinwalker was tapping on my window should I look at it or ignore it because I ignored it I don't think it was a skin walker but maybe because my window in my living room is 9 feet up on the wall and out side the ground to that window is 14 feet tall so what the hell was tapping on my window?
Also I heard some banging near my garage but idk. The skinwalker is the only thing I could think of. I just bought a new air fork for my bike and its a Manitou markhor 100mm of travel gave me so composer when this thing was all around my house.
Edit: I saw so black blured figures but didn't really care but so many of them. I was home alone at the time with my sister but she was in her room.
