I trust my FIVE year old kid to be outside all alone! "Hey kid want free ice cream somewhere else" kid: SURE THAT SOUNDS GREAT Mom: Surprised pikachu face
"I have a lot of trust in this kid." And on that day, an idiot simultaneously earned their "its not about trusting the kid, it's about trusting the world with your kid" wings and a child got very, very lucky.
Exactly. Come on, we all know there's something inherently creepy about ice cream trucks. But the really strange thing is that the kidnapper was bold enough to come back to his house just to taunt him. Definitely need to keep an eye out for that one.
Leah Bouch yeah what’s worse is the kid was clearly not taught about stranger danger.. “there’s more ice cream in my warehouse” I mean come on that’s literally straight out of the book, you watch any video on stranger danger and the first scenario they talk about is always someone saying “I have more ____ in my ____ , if you come with me you can have as much as you want.”
Honestly it could have happened. I see peopleleaving young kids to walk alone all the time. IV seen babies and toddlers left alone in cars (not summer) and children alone at home. People aren't smart when it comes to their kids at times
So he sends his trusting 5 year old kid to go outside alone, to the ice cream man. The lunatic kidnaps his kid, but the numpty didn't think to call the police. 🤔
protip: if it's dark outside and you're paranoid about people seeing into your house, the absolute last thing you want to do is turn on all the lights. Buy some blinds too, geez.
Arizona CycleSomatic ehh that one was a dude I’m pretty sure. It seems like a lot of people do “stupid” things. Some stories are fake but in the real stories I wonder if I’d do the same in that situation because you never know if you’ll run, fight, or freeze in a scary situation.
Doing things for protection BEFORE an attack and having to think fast during an attack are different things. Some people can't help how they behave during an attack, but you can be smart and protect yourself and make it less likely to happen.
Dude we all trust our kids and hope they do the right thing, but it doesn't matter where you live scumbags will find your kids. First I hope you told your kid about stranger danger or people trying to give away free stuff just to get them into the car, if not strike against you. Second, this world is messed up and it's not like when most of us were kids and could be left unsupervised for hours without our parents worrying although crap like that happened back then, too. You should always keep your kid in your line of sight when outside or in this case getting ice cream from an ice cream truck. Another strike. I'm not perfect, but these are some common sense rules that you have known as a child and to be wary of as a parent with your son. You got very lucky that he kicked him out of the car and that you actually saw him at the last minute and that those trucks can be slow.
The person who got in the accident and said that their story might not be “outright scary” like the rest of them but I think it’s even worse because it’s so out of your control when you’re in a car accident
Last story: how the hell do you move into a new place and not check all door and window locks to make sure they all work properly?? Not saying he deserved it, but c'mon dude!!
Sanna Tenhunen yeah he says it’s pitch black but even in thick forests if you let your eyes dilate fully you can see at the very lease silhouettes, especially if someone’s moving around outside your house, you’d see that. He should have checked all the locks tho, there’s no way the guy broke in without him waking up, it was clearly just an unlocked door, or the guy was already in the house which still means he didn’t check anything.
2011walnut78 I actually am pretty good about feeling eyes on me tho, so it’s believable. I kept looking around one time when I was camping alone with my gf, and I was saying that something was watching us. Then I jumped up at one point because the chills on my neck were so bad and I shined my flash light around and there was a skunk walking into our camp to grab our trash bag. It was actually a pretty funny situation because the skunk just backed away with our trash bag pulling it under the car. So I can believe that he felt like he was being watched before knowing for sure. He should have checked the doors and windows though the moment he felt that uneasiness.
I organised a surprise party for him, and he threw a fridge down the stairs and then threatened to kill me... ... I then decided to keep dating him and even slept with him that very night, because I'm such a f**king genius.
Shanghaimartin You’re such a f’n genius you don’t understand the dynamics of abusive relationships, or traumatic bonding, or Battered Women’s Syndrome.
@@brittaolson6550 Hi White Knight. Maybe go back and listen to the story again and specifically the timeline of what happened before commenting and embarrassing yourself even more. Thanks. 😊
I am dying to hear if the motive was figured out in the last story! Did the dude rob the place? Was he just some psychopath killer? Did the victim call police? Did he spend any time in the hospital? Did they install any surveillance equipment afterwards? It drives me nuts when a story ends like this! He just left me hanging! Lol!
I'm exhausted and heading to bed early, thank you for guaranteeing me sleep. I love falling asleep to your voice, these videos are like lullabies for me : )
This reminded me of the time I stupidly almost got myself kidnapped when I was 21, thankfully never saw the weirdo ever again, god it was so embarrassing how gullible I used to be.
I used to get rides from random strangers to my apartment at my small town college. I never had any negative experience, but it was still risky... Have I learned anything from it? Probably not, seeing as I don't fear Craigslist or Offer Up nearly as much as I should. I also pulled over and helped a random guy on the side of the road who was having some car trouble... According to all the scary stories I listen to, I will 100% die from my misplaced trust.
How can a guy have 10 restraining orders against him and not be in jail!? I mean at what point do they deem these maggots predators? I can tell you......After they rape and or kill one of the innocent women that they are harassing! That pisses me off to no end, guys like that ruin these womens lives and they are allowed to do so! Most of them just need their teeth kicked in once or twice and they may think twice about stalking some poor girl. Why would someone pursue a person who obviously isn't interested in them? Where is their since of pride and self respect?
In the first story, the man saying, “oh no, I don’t care, I just want you to get in the car,” reminded me of Christian Bale in America Psycho... so blunt and...arrogant
For the girl in the car accident, that is scary. Idc what anyone says, it may not be a scary story for Halloween but anyone who has been in a car accident or been very close to one, your life flashes before your eyes. Story #2: that father should be absolutely ashamed of himself. 5 I a too young an age to be allowing your kid to test out their independence like that.
