That is really awesome. I did not know that this is even possible in vanilla SE and your control system is genious. It looks kind of like a trained horse reacting to its human, only in this case it is "ai" reacting to your movements.

I don't think SE is nearly stable enough, but i'm waiting for the moment it becomes possible to make decently functioning(probably with a LOT of scripting assistance) Mobile Suits in game. The thing that will genuinely surprise me and amaze me the most is if someone can not only make a functioning mobile suit, but make one that can join to its various parts in-air. Think the Impulse Gundam, complete with striker packs.
this just inspired me to finally build that one base cargo system idea I've been putting of for a while with conveyer belts, cranes, containers and everything
Super impressive. The mechanical/engineering aspects of things like this are pretty straight forward. But the time and patience it takes to do all the programming to get everything actually moving the way you want them for something like this is on another level. I've had lots of ideas for things I wanted to make in SE before, but I just don't have the patience to sit there programming rotors and hinges and pistons for days on end.
This is by FAR the most impressive, smartest, and coolest thing I have ever seen in space engineers. I cannot believe how talented you are at this! Please never stop!! This whole thing is literally perfect!

i absolutely love this lil thing. in my use of it, ive found better survivability when equipping it with faux armor plating that extends the silhouette downwards under the mech. in theory, it adds more surface area that would be targeted, to no avail as there is nothing behind it.
Brilliant, as usual. Why not have the platform swap out different tools like a welder, a crane to salvage ships (etc) with, a drilling system with an ore detector, and of course weapons making the walker and other vehicles more versatile?
