Even though this is a relatively simple trick for most everyone, this has become my favorite starter/transition trick... as in moving on from mounts and binds to something that has flow. This trick makes me feel like I can "do this". Thank you.
I’ve been yo-yoing about a week and a lot of the time I just don’t know how to get out of some of these mounts. I feel like I could do this with some practice, but I have to figure out how to get out of it lol
So, huge laugh... on me. Since week 2 it's become automatic for me to do the three finger (middle, ring and pinky) curl around the string with the throw hand. I've been doing the three finger curl with this trick and I could not land into the kamikaze smoothly at the end. Moved onto other tricks and came back today after 5 months to revisit this and finally realized he is not doing the three finger curl but rather making room for the 1.5 with his thumb. NOW everything is landing for me like the video, but I have to relearn how to not curl those three fingers. Great stuff!
I don't get it what's with all the videos of people who are very good at yoyoing showing tutorials for difficult tricks and calling them easy. There's nothing easy about this. The 1.5 mount alone is challenging to learn and get smooth and consistent, let alone all the other parts of the trick.
I absolutely HATED the 1.5 when I started. Only advice I have is, if you are right handed, is after a trapeze, get it over your right finger and just lightly roll it off the finger and get an inch or two of air and then go right back onto the right finger. Repeat that small little back and forth till that feels comfortable. Then, if the string from the left is aligned up with the yoyo on the right, pull it around into the 1.5. Roll it off and then roll back onto the 1.5. I did that for a month with a responsive yoyo, amongst other basic elements. The 1.5 will get there. This entire trick is probably one of the simplest in terms of something that has flow to it. Just keep at it.

I've been doing this exact trick in my own combo for a few months now, and it really does make it look much smoother! Great tutorial, Joe!
I know this is an old video but I just learned this today and was super easy to follow along with. Love the tutorials :)
😮, u play with yoyo?
YES! I was wanting to learn a combo like this!
me too!!!
just learned this and i love how it flows!
Nice! I do something similar already, so the extra branding step will be a nice little addition. Thanks for the video!
Thank You SO Much for the extra element, I'll keep this one in my holster when I'm comboing!!
This is a really good tutorial for right handed people
Awesome! Visuals are great man. Well explained and fun learning. Can't wait to see what's next . Thanks

i've been working on my branding variations and this is a nice one! thanks
Sweet! Glad you like it!

Looking good, nearly all elements are from the trick branding 🙂 which I just learned, will try this
Best quality video as always. Nice trick. Keep it up!
Hey joe, wish u can do a video about some cool picture trick or some longer speed combo. Nice vid btw
Great video, my combo starts with a Kamikaze so this is a great start for it!
Does this trick have a name? Also, thanks for tutorials like this, as a relatively new player I really appreciate it!
Pretty good and really easy👍👍👍!
Dude your tutorials are off the chain, nice work! Keep up the good work!
I have a very simple, single yoyo element I would like to pass on. I believe it's unique. Is there anywhere I can send a video to?
Easy has left the server
watching this after watching one that he made 4 years before this video shows how much his voice has changed
this is confusing can you also make another speed combo element that ends on a kamikaze mount?
YOYO FREESTYLE REACTION Tal mordock 2019!!!!!!!!
Nice
What is the intro's music name☻
I’ve been doing this in my combos befor I even knew what it was called lmao. Thanks for the nice and easy to follow tutorials
What is a rail combo?
That the yoyo doesn't leave the string, like skin the gerbil
I can’t see you’re Yoyo from the front so I don’t know what you’re doing 😢
hello Joe all right, could you point me to a yoyo that spins for 10 minutes?
Please do a free giveaway
Love the trick! Can you do another give away?😁

Skill issue
I used to think the same, all you gotta do is just practice more until you're finger is about to fall out
