But once Rick came back, she made it clear to Shane that she want nothing to do with him because he lied and now he’s getting insane and trying to claim Lori and Carl and the unborn baby that they are his. Shane doesn’t have the balls to say anything to Lori while Ricks on the farm. Shane is delusional just like Aj lol 😂 Shane is dangerous and you’ll see why.
Whether Shane lied about Rick being dead or not (which he didn't, they literally showed us Shane listening closely to his chest and after he didn't hear breathing he even blocked the door so he would be safe just IN CASE he was still alive,, highly making Shane the reason Rick is still alive today) it does not change the fact that Lori had a CHOICE. Shane did not force her into the relationship we saw between her and Shane in the beginning. She was with him HAPPILY. She CHOSE to do that. Rick came back and she had guilt ofc and tried to end things. Therefore Shane should've backed off, so in that instance he is wrong. After he made that mistake in the CDC or whatever it's called he tried to leave but what stopped him... LORI. You know I have watched TWD AT LEAST 15 times, no exaggeration, and I always took that scene at Lori manipulating rick to try and get shane killed, but after rewatching it I think your right, she's saying that she thinks that shane will also protect Lori, like rick will, but is also saying shane thinks rick is a compromise to her safety. So it's a warning that shane is dangerous, that scene makes so much more sense now

Yea, I don’t know If I agree with any of this. I feel like the scene where Lori is talking to that lady at Carl’s school before the apocalypse captures her true personality pretty well. There were problems in their marriage because Rick wouldn’t yell at her.... that pretty much sums up her toxicity. I can’t she her actions as anything less than manipulating Rick and Shane into a confrontation.
Shane is crazy, feel bad for Lori having to constantly work a round his crazy ass, this episode solidified that he did kill Otis, she didn't believe he was capable of it but now she does.
I think what Lori meant is that she thinks Shane will kill Rick because he thinks Lori is his Shane and Rick have their differences but they’re very similar in the sense that they will do anything for the people they love I don’t think she carried the message the best way since she whispered to Rick like a seductress but she’s right in warning Rick how dangerous Shane has become.

Lori is definitely putting it out there that Rick needs to take out Shane and she is not wrong. I don't know how y'all are sitting there and not realizing that Shane is dangerous. He aimed a gun at Rick contemplating killing him, he sexually assaulted Lori, he killed Otis, he threatened to kill Dale, and he is stalking Lori. He just said Lori and him were a long time coming meaning he was having feelings for his best friend's wife before the outbreak. He's been waiting to put moves on her and now that he had her he wants to take Rick's place.
This episode shows the difference between Shane and Rick and why neither of them is necessarily wrong in their approach. You said last episode that Rick knows when to make the hard choices and that Shane was just chatting but while Rick did shoot at those guys when their life was in danger he only waited until the very end when he could claim it was self defence. Then in this episode they spend the day waiting in the bar while the group those guys belong to prowl around and when confronted he tries to reason with them. Rick is still only about half way to making the right decisions in these situations. Shane's only problem is adapting too fast to the world which made people feel uneasy because they constantly wanted to look back and hope the other one would return.
Just a little fyi, Lori and Rick slept together the night Rick got back and Lori and Shane slept together earlier that same day so it’s kind of a 50/50 chance 🤷♀️ love the reactions ❤️
No it's not 50/50. Think about it - Rick woke up from a coma to find that the world ended and is filled with flesh eating monsters, he goes back home and finds that his wife and son is gone. He goes through all that close to death situations, ends up finding his family. Now knowing Ricks personality, I don't believe he would knowingly risk putting his wife in a vulnerable situation with a pregnancy and the potential of dying from child birth since there's no hospital/epidural. Plus the issues a crying/helpless baby would put everyone else in. Just based on his character he would be cautious about that. Shane's motives are different - he's more in lust with Lori, and yeah he might care for her safety but his desires come first which means he would be reckless with the potential of getting her pregnant.
Nah I know the guy in the middle is an ultra Shane hater but when he said “Lori kept her loved ones alive” was crazy. Lori is the least useful person in this whole group. In a few episodes Lori will tell Shane that what they had was real and he was sooo confident that he was right when they had the little debate.
Lori is the real nemesis here. She is inconsistent & messes with Shane's head. She's screwing him one moment then saying screw you the next, she's saying leave one moment then says "you're leaving?" the next, she's like stay away from my boy then be like why are you ignoring my boy? Then at the same time she's in Rick's ear like "shane loveeeess me, he says you can't protect us, what are you gonna do about that" she's literally setting brothers up against each other. Doing a push/pull with Shane and at the same time building hatred for Shane in Rick. She's absolutely alluding to killing Shane. Rick killed people to protect his family and Shane (the reckless and dangerous man according to her) doesn't think rick can protect them and sees Lori and Carl and the baby as his family... that's clear cut saying Shane will kill you if he believes you will put us in danger. And I don't see a logic way in this situation and world to handle a reckless and dangerous person that is willing to kill you, other than killing that person first. But knowing Lori if Rick ever did try to kill Shane she would be her inconsistent self and be like "why would you try to hurt him rick?!" I agree she should tell her husband what's good but the way she's doing it is real manipulative. She could have told him from jump but first played with Shane's emotions until the point this night basically baby psycho. Now she's like "I'm done with him btw Rick this is what he be saying about you "

So she wanted tho relive their relationship that they had in the beginning. So when her and Rick argued she wanted him to argue back or at least say something, but obviously and he really didn’t. SOOOOOO basically they had communication problems. Shane was there at a time were she (and Shane too) was very vulnerable, but i feel like he took advantage of that. It was only a one night stand basically. She did have feelings but her love for rick was way stronger , she looked to him for protection . Both or Shane in Lori were wrong. She is trying to move past that but Shane has become obsessed

I HATED Lori. All that back and forth bullshit with Shane and Rick didn’t have to happen! She definitely loved Shane too she was married to Rick and had his child the problem was Shane wouldn’t have happened if she didn’t think Rick had died. Lori is definitely putting it out there that Rick needs to take out Shane and she is not wrong. I don't know how y'all are sitting there and not realizing that Shane is dangerous. He aimed a gun at Rick contemplating killing him, he sexually assaulted Lori, he killed Otis, he threatened to kill Dale, and he is stalking Lori. He just said Lori and him were a long time coming meaning he was having feelings for his best friend's wife before the outbreak. He's been waiting to put moves on her and now that he had her he wants to take Rick's place.
This episode shows the difference between Shane and Rick and why neither of them is necessarily wrong in their approach. You said last episode that Rick knows when to make the hard choices and that Shane was just chatting but while Rick did shoot at those guys when their life was in danger he only waited until the very end when he could claim it was self defence. Then in this episode they spend the day waiting in the bar while the group those guys belong to prowl around and when confronted he tries to reason with them. Rick is still only about half way to making the right decisions in these situations. Shane's only problem is adapting too fast to the world which made people feel uneasy because they constantly wanted to look back and hope the other one would return.

No it's not 50/50. Think about it - Rick woke up from a coma to find that the world ended and is filled with flesh eating monsters, he goes back home and finds that his wife and son is gone. He goes through all that close to death situations, ends up finding his family. Now knowing Ricks personality, I don't believe he would knowingly risk putting his wife in a vulnerable situation with a pregnancy and the potential of dying from child birth since there's no hospital/epidural. Plus the issues a crying/helpless baby would put everyone else in. Just based on his character he would be cautious about that. Shane's motives are different - he's more in lust with Lori, and yeah he might care for her safety but his desires come first which means he would be reckless with the potential of getting her pregnant.
Nah I know the guy in the middle is an ultra Shane hater but when he said “Lori kept her loved ones alive” was crazy. Lori is the least useful person in this whole group. In a few episodes Lori will tell Shane that what they had was real and he was sooo confident that he was right when they had the little debate.

Lori is the real nemesis here. She is inconsistent & messes with Shane's head. She's screwing him one moment then saying screw you the next, she's saying leave one moment then says "you're leaving?" the next, she's like stay away from my boy then be like why are you ignoring my boy? Then at the same time she's in Rick's ear like "shane loveeeess me, he says you can't protect us, what are you gonna do about that" she's literally setting brothers up against each other. Doing a push/pull with Shane and at the same time building hatred for Shane in Rick.
She's absolutely alluding to killing Shane. Rick killed people to protect his family and Shane (the reckless and dangerous man according to her) doesn't think rick can protect them and sees Lori and Carl and the baby as his family... that's clear cut saying Shane will kill you if he believes you will put us in danger. And I don't see a logic way in this situation and world to handle a reckless and dangerous person that is willing to kill you, other than killing that person first. But knowing Lori if Rick ever did try to kill Shane she would be her inconsistent self and be like "why would you try to hurt him rick?!"
I agree she should tell her husband what's good but the way she's doing it is real manipulative. She could have told him from jump but first played with Shane's emotions until the point this night basically baby psycho. Now she's like "I'm done with him btw Rick this is what he be saying about you "
I’m pretty sure Lori doesn’t ever know what she’s doing cuz she always regrets the consequences of her actions. And she 100% is made things worse between Rick and Shane but Shane’s obsession with her drove him crazy.

Great reasction. I can see all sides of the Lori Rick conversation but I think I lean more toward Lori trying to imply things side because of the way the scene was shot. They weren't having a face to face conversation.. she was like whispering in his ear kinda thing. It felt like that's the kind of picture they wanted to paint for me. Oddly I think all points of view are true with the Lori Shane talk. Taking a different perspective on the wording makes all of what each of you was being debated feel true to me. I'm done.

@@umershaikh7179basically the backstory is, that they got married very young and had Carl. Seemed to me that she was having a midlife crises. So she wanted tho relive their relationship that they had in the beginning. So when her and Rick argued she wanted him to argue back or at least say something, but obviously and he really didn’t. SOOOOOO basically they had communication problems. Shane was there at a time were she (and Shane too) was very vulnerable, but i feel like he took advantage of that. It was only a one night stand basically. She did have feelings but her love for rick was way stronger , she looked to him for protection . Both or Shane in Lori were wrong. She is trying to move past that but Shane has become obsessed

Guys, guys. No need to argue. Laurie is clearly a thotty. Even before the fall, she was most likely going to divorce him because she kept complaining about how perfect he was. Now that the world is over, shane was just a safe place for her to be around.
