The Philippines' new year celebration has a unique charm. Instead of watching in one place, you see it all around, not conducted. Just people making noise with whatever also. It's pretty heartwarming really. I'd rather have this than the 'obviously' grander fireworks display from other countries.
Yeah, true, but on top of those, there's this annual organized fireworks competition sponsored by the SM Mall of Asia, and participated by many countries around the world. It usually runs for a week or so. Really grand!

Manila in my mind. The biggest firework I have ever seen was in Manila on 2014 from the 14th floor in a condo near the Mall of Asia. Wow! They are spectacular. They burn some Dollars there, that stuff is not cheap. Happy new vision 2020 Manila!

This is Manila, entire metro manila is a firework display, exiting than new york, and other countries that only being done in a particular place you need to go and after few minutes of firework display, you have to go home again, In manila do it in front of your House and it will lasts for an hour or until you burn all your firework, this is the result, this is more exciting, lighting up your own fireworks displays, than just watching them. some neighborhoods are competing who has the best firework display every year. this is the result.

It's a routine for us Filipinos to put out fireworks, sound our trumpets, bring our music stereo to full volume, roam around the streets making noise with metals clanking on the concrete pavement, shout to the top of our lungs "Happy new year".
