"Turn Your Dreams Into Reality" Yes, I want to become an 'artist' without any real art skill. Just type some fancy keywords, aaaand voila!!!! I can sell my artwork for hundred dollars
Damn I'm glad I deleted my deviantarts account in 2013 which I'm sure glad some users from know your meme bullied me to quit drawing at such a right time!
I'm not even half as upset about the AI coming into existence, as I am about the FLOOD of people that came in to Celebrate and kick artists while we are down. Up until now I had no idea us artists were so hated and unappreciated. Even if the AI disappeared tomorrow, I don't feel like doing art anymore anyway because humanity is ugly and doesn't deserve to be embellished in art.
I mean seriously the things I've seen people saying. "You shouldn't have any ownership over your skill, no matter how many years you had to train for it, anybody should be able to just take it from you. You don't have the right to your own voice or legacy."
@@cosmicllama6910 I've seen those too. They are mostly redditors who look for any video criticizing ai so they can argue that it's "taking away from snobby entitled artists" and that we should "just get real jobs like everyone else and move on with the free market." The creator of stable diffusion himself said that he wants to take artist's jobs away from them. Which is an oddly cruel thing to say. Ai will still always be lacking compared to real artists, who understand color theory, mood, and fundamentals (rather than an ai who just mashes stuff together to look for a recognizable form). Until an ai can go through the same process a human can, artists will not lose their jobs. Not to mention most artists design things for human usage for a living, which an ai cannot do (the ai would have to look at how humans interact with the world to create anything). These idiots don't realize that there will always be a market for human made art. Office jobs and manual labor jobs on the other hand, will probably be outsourced to ai, because of how much cheaper it can be. They should worry about their own jobs before ours.
@@scaredstiff7176 I worry the jobs they should roboticize will be exactly the ones they won't, because they like having a lower class that is broken spirited by being stuck in the worst labor for little pay. Even in an age where they could think about automating all labor to free everyone and make us all equals, instead they design dancing (killing) machines and automate the creative jobs.
Kiev (and other former admins) will ignore any spat between artists; some tracers can trace from others and get away with it for years, even with any digital programs. (eg:Nads6969 or anyone with Core or above) An exodus is great, but not in the long run with inactive/dead deviants.
AI art exists because people are so impatient that they don't want to wait for artist to finish their work. They would rather replace them with computers. It's good for business time wise sure, but it kills off the passion in art. That is why to some extent, business and art don't do well together. AI art can be used as a tool yes, but not a replacement That is how I feel about it.

DA went downhill since Wix bought it, everyone should leave the site, sucks because that's how I met many artists on here since the late 00s, better to move to Artfol or Inkblot
Hey, it's 2022 (almost 2023), so it is trendy for companies to do the opposite of what costumers want.

not even hundreds, since art can now be mass produced with a couple words and a press of a button its value is gonna go down heavily
Imagine you put a lot if time and effort on your art just so the staff would train that AI using artworks by actual human beings.
I am a DeviantArt user myself and I could not believe that the whole site would betray millions of artists.
Lookit the guys who support AI art. They really know what to say in favor. "Real artist steal anyway" is their best argument.
Deactivated my account, never looking back

Ban AI art and DreamUp from DeviantArt
Artists, perhaps should pick up the pen and protest with your art. It's like Picasso created Guernica
Then a mofo comes and adds that protest art to their AI model. Yeah, sure, buddy...

This should be bad idea
Because it already exists - they are using An ai already made
