Thank you again for the 6 factors. I have used them in studying and they are amazing. Have cut my reading time down (There is a lot of fluff in my book). I was able to focus on what is important for the patient.
Yay, awesome! I MUST read these books so I had to create a system, haha. Because they are boring and sometimes they dive too deep for exam purposes : )
Thank you so much for these videos. I’m 50 years old and starting an online FNP program. I feel like I don’t remember how to study. Also, being a postpartum nurse is somewhat of a disadvantage since we don’t see sick patients. Once again, thank you
Thank you soo much for watching. Yeah, I read these books 5-6 hours per week for teaching. They get boring and run on and on sometimes, haha. Had to find a system, haha.
I passed PEDS my 0.01%. And I'm here now. I could have easily failed if I had missed one more question. It means nothing, it's just a bump in the road. You got this!
Thank you so much for this videos. I just found your channel and it gold to me. I graduated my MENP program and trying to start class for FNP while work as ER NURSE. I have been ED tech for almost 10 years and have some pt care and hospital experience, I hope I would be able take those courses. Finally, I am going to try this 6 step method to content out of book. This sounds like a pretty good method!! Thank you for all the good work you are put in TH-cam. ❤
Omg so thankful for this. I'm only 1 min into the video but I remember u making a video like this before and it was super short but this right here is golddddden
I have to read 5-7 a week (now), it's gets overwhelming, I try to take notes as I read, writing down key concepts to review (if I have time). It's not an easy task and VERY annoying! Haha
Thank you for do another video and breaking this down more... I literally had to keep pause to take notes. This will be very helpful information that I will utilize as I enter my semester for med surg.
I just watch your video interview and it was so good to hear alot of things I was thinking about. I'll be starting my pre reqs in May, and its awesome I live in Orlando FL
I'm about going to nursing school in a 4 months from now and am doing my research before getting into the field and i just came across your vidoe and it is really educative and i love it.please if you do read my response, i will be more than happy if you can further help and guide me on how to go around with my preparation before i start with my studies.thanks for your understanding and i will be waiting for your response, watching and following you from Cameroon (an african country).
You probably won’t see this b/c this video was made 10 months ago but I wanted to take a chance and ask you do your methods work on a&p reading of textbooks? I took a&p 1 and my professor gave notes that had everything needed for the test I never had to pick up the book. Now in a&p 2 my professor only gets off the book, no notes or ppt & it’s a lot. I feel overwhelmed with the book. Any advice, tips, please help?
Know the signs and symptoms and what the interventions should be. I used flashcards when I was in school and that really helped (with each topic on one side). Hope it helps.
I just wanted to say that you inspired me to start making videos. You are a reason I got an A on a difficult exam. Thank you so much. Here is the link to the video I mentioned you in! th-cam.com/video/7cnRA4kYoVE/w-d-xo.html

Omg thank u!! Your voice was soothing lol. I’m gonna try the “close my eyes” thing! ☺️
Haha, I filmed it at 11PM. I need to do more videos at that time.
This was extremly helpful as I'm returning to nursing school in Jan and nervous about all the reading and how to tackle it all!
Me too!😢
Thank you soo much for watching. Yeah, I read these books 5-6 hours per week for teaching. They get boring and run on and on sometimes, haha. Had to find a system, haha.
I'm praying this works for me ! I'm retaking OB /peds failed by .4% and omg that material stressed my life lol but I really feel this will work!

@nursenacole any tips on how to study for fundamentals? Any videos that would be helpful? Current not learning any particular diseases
In terms of fundamentals, charts worked best for me. As the content was new and I needed to group things together.
Hopefully this helps me going into maternity & peds in january 🤞🏾
Keep us posted : )
This is soooo helpful thanks a ton 🙏
You are welcome, thank you for watching : )
This is an amazing video! Thanks so much!
Thank you so much!
Can you do one on Fluid and electrolytes please lol
Haha, will do.
I agree. I don’t see your video on fluid & electrolytes
Can someone tell me the difference between clinical manifestation and S & S?
A symptom is a manifestation of disease apparent to the patient himself, while a sign is a manifestation of disease that the physician perceives.
“ I just don’t wanna breeze over the topics.”
I wished my instructor didn’t. 😩😩
Sometimes you don't have a choice but when I'm learning, I have to take the long route in the beginning and fine tune things.
You are the BEST! Thank you 🙏🏽
You're too kind, thank you!

I remember some A&P students saying it worked for them. I love learning BUT I have limited time so I have to pick and choose what's important : )
So helpful! Thank you!
No problem, thank you for your support.
Any tips on how to study for MedSurg?
