    What a wonderful man he was, so much I learned a new in this short interview - my most respectful regard for a gem of science and humanity. One cannot appreciate Joanna Rose enough for bringing us a tower of intellect and genuine human quality of the man!

    It is amazing how young he was at heart even at such an old age.

    I did my physics dissertation on the histories approach to qm. Which Gell-Mann developed along with Hartle. He made a lot of contributions to the field but his work on foundations of physics always inspired and fascinated me.

    I hereby propose that the quarks are each composed of five wonks, each carrying 3/7 of electric charge and fifteen colours in 7 dimensions, and only ever mate under a full moon.
