In Odisha we are also not less behind you.....our mother/sister prepare most delicious foods for us like you, slightly different in preparation skill .You made ball dip the ball in process liquid and deep fried only we don't do that....instead the processed liquid we fry it in pan in shape of bread it is called PITHA=CHAKULI=in English cake.The other fried meshed potatoes is called BHARTA extra add is non chopped mustard in Odiya style.
