I bought a Jordan 4 black cat. It’s replica sadly. I got cooked. That said. It’s very short suede. Can I use the 2 soft and paint on this short suede ?
I was painting some platinum 11s I tried mixing the angelus with the 2 soft for the suede parts and it came out very blotchy I did about 3-4 coats and still blotchy

On suede, dye is definitely the best option for keeping the final product as smooth as possible. Since the suede/nubuck on this shoe was very short and not very nappy, the difference was minimal when using paint and 2-soft. If you are working with a true suede, dye will definitely be your best option to keep it soft!

Great question! Yes, he did and you would want to as well to remove any finishes and oils that may be on it from the factory. 🙌

You can, but you may have a texture that is a little hard once it dries. This also depends on the shoe now.

Very carefully. 😭 Maybe use a very detailed brush around that area instead.

love to hear peoples experience with too soft on suede. my results have not been good. came out very hard.
Same here. I believe his is hard also.
For suede I prefer to use dye. That way it still keeps its softness, but it’s very unforgiving if you mess up
