When Errol comforts his mother, my heart couldn’t handle it. What a sweet kid and you can tell his parents are doing a good job with him. God bless them all.
The way Errol put his arm up around his Mom's shoulders to comfort her when she was upset. What a sweet little man ❤ Glad they're both unhurt physically but mentally that's a different story 🙏
I am so glad these two are ok. I got chills watching this. I have children myself. Errol is such a loving boy! This should have never happened! Praying for those injured! Stay strong Maryjane! Jesse Weber is an amazing interviewer and person.
My heart jumped when I watched this, I'm sure a few of those bullets missed that boy by inches! And having that item in front of the window saved him! Happy he is ok, but it looks like some kids outside are not that lucky!
Just those kids huh? What about all the other kids in the neighborhood? And why do people need to flee their homes? How about we go after those making it dangerous and just keep the neighborhood? Running away is not going to solve anything and it will inevitably follow you to your new doorstep if you keep running from it.
Im in Norway watching all of these terrible things happen in USA...... this is so unrealistic for us in others countries seeing this type of criminality... is like a movie for us. So unrealistic and terrifying to watch......😢😢😢😢
I would also like to mention that this kid handled this like a straithr Champ! The Survival Instincts on Point! Look at how he instinctually tried to make himself smaller, and immediately stood in place. They almost don't make kids this sharp anymore.
So now this becomes an issue, this has been going on for quite some time but the media hasn’t covered it to this magnitude. What kept them for so long?
What a sweet boy! But not a great interviewer...I want to know about the little girl with blood, going in & out of consciousness, who was actually SHOT! Why didn't he ask not even 1 question about how anyone else was, we heard them scream? 'Shot in the leg', that's all we know because the mom offered that up, also what about mom... who's obviously still shell-shocked, what the hell? There's a bigger story here! Unless I missed a segment, but I even watched it again to see if I missed the anchor saying anything about her....
No further details about person shot in the leg could br privacy issues regarding details because of being a minor. ( Also , possible law enforcement not wanting too many details getting out impeding investigation of shooting. ) Agree , could have asked questions about Mom but could already tell she was struggling to keep it together { little boy reaching out to touch Mom's back to comfort her , early in interview } . They are both reliving traumatic experience. My question(s) is ( are ) in regards to husband/boyfriend /father figure in home ? Was he not home when this happened ? Small video clip ( and thankfully never been in this situation ) but is Mom running into child as child is running to Mom ?
Mom, it didn’t happen to you, it happened to your son, he went through a traumatic experience. Put your big girt pants on and support your son; your son should not have to be your emotional support person and support and comfort you. If you need to cry, and have a moment of weakness, not in front of your son, he doesn’t need your trauma added to his trauma. It’s not right or fair that violence invades our homes, but the mental wellbeing of your son takes priority as his brain is still physically developing.

What a sweet kid intuitively comforting his mom
So glad the little boy, his mom and pup are okay! I am so glad the interviewer turned out to be so kind and sensitive!
This reporter is a great interviewer. He asks all the right questions. I'm gonna follow this kid.
The way Errol put his arm up around his Mom's shoulders to comfort her when she was upset. What a sweet little man ❤
Glad they're both unhurt physically but mentally that's a different story 🙏
What a brave little sweet pea! ❤ He is comforting his mom!😢
To see that sweet boy comforting his mom so sweet.
Aww 🥰 sweet boy comforting mum
This made me cry. The world we live in now is just unsafe specially for our kids.
They way he consoled his mom, had me in tears 😢
Mom is clearly so traumatized. My heart breaks for them. Her boy is so sweet and is going to be a wonderful man, it’s so clear.
Where is the go fund me? Did the others survive? This is WILD.

This world is so cruel..this is heartbreaking 💔
He was just standing in front of it one sec prior. I’m glad he’s ok ❤
Virtual hug's to the lil boy and his mom 💗
What a sweet boy, comforting his mom. Reminds me of my own son…
So sad. And it’s so expensive to move and she probably lives there for the price. I pray they can find another place quickly
Precious son. How brave. How sweet he is. Bless you all. Thankful for Gods protection.
My heart jumped when I watched this, I'm sure a few of those bullets missed that boy by inches! And having that item in front of the window saved him! Happy he is ok, but it looks like some kids outside are not that lucky!
Yeah, I was curious to know why they didn’t say anything about those other kids
This child shouldn’t have to live through this! Time to move… this is heartbreaking 💔
Thank goodness you are ok. How frightening 😢
Mom needs to get those kids out of that neighborhood!! Not safe!!!

Now he can share childhood memories with kids growing up in Chicago.
Glad to hear the family is moving to a safer place.
Poor kid
Errol comforting his mom. Precious ❤

Jesse Weber! I didn’t know you were on anything other than Law and Crime. Love from Canada 🇨🇦
Amazing kid
Wait Jesse is on news nation!? Stepping up in the world.
Probably the only liberal news person I like
He's been on News Nation the last few months here and there I've noticed. I really like Jesse too!
I would also like to mention that this kid handled this like a straithr Champ!
The Survival Instincts on Point! Look at how he instinctually tried to make himself smaller, and immediately stood in place.
They almost don't make kids this sharp anymore.
Please someone please help get them out of that area. Im praying for a miracle for them... 🙏♥️
How do you stay safe in America
It hurts my heart to know this special little boy and his mom are having to live in the middle of this crime infested mess!
Oh my gossh I know this reporter news nation be getting talent
Why anyone would actually choose to live there in that god-awful city, let alone state, is beyond me.
Awful state? Cut the drugs this can happen anywhere. Especially Chicago, Illinois
@@A_Legal_Immigrant_1776 Yes, but it's happening there. And people remain. So my point remains.
Texas is definitely on a downward spiral. Thanks Biden.

G wiz; surprise surprise, I wouldn't expect this in the USA 🇺🇸
Ban assault rifles, or at least have stronger gun control law.
I’m sure the shooter’s gun was completely legal, yeah…right? Because gun laws are working so well…
Brave kid and brave frenchies!
What happened to the other kids? I’m glad the mother and son are alive ❤❤
It's called the hood.
A small peak of things to come.
There was kids outside!!!!!!!!
How come this was caught on video in their living room?
some people have cameras all over their houses. we have a camera in our living room it watches our dog when we’re gone and I can see it on my phone.
Sorry this happen to you.

You have a good little man ,there , mama ❤
If it were not for the dryer the little boy could have been injured or killed.
This family just got the Scott Adams treatment..
