    There's a better way to use the threader tool! Pop it through your needle first then put the thread through the tool. Pull the tool back through the needle and it will pull your thread through with it without separating the strands of the thread. :D

    I was shook when you used all 6 strands, that is probably a bit more difficult to pull through the fabric and the needle. Most use 2 or 3 strands of the thread.

    • @amara560
      @amara560 4 ปีที่แล้ว +37

      It all depends on what project you're working on, but for most 2-3 strands is preferable yes. However with a woven wheel 6 strands makes the build up much faster.

    • @ДубровскаяАнастасия-с3ц
      @ДубровскаяАнастасия-с3ц 4 ปีที่แล้ว +22

      With 2-3 threads you spend more time filling the areas (such a tedious work ) and also it looks more neatly than with 6 threads (i think it looks a bit rough)

    • @orngejuce461
      @orngejuce461 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      You can embroider lots of things but cotton, linen, and canvas work best...shirt pockets, plain dish towels, Xmas stockings, pillowcases, totebags.... just iron the item, stretch it on the hoop, embroider, then spritz with water and iron again. You can also turn the embroidery into a patch with fusable web (stuff that you put between 2 pieces of fabric and iron). It is a great way to make a cute little piece to put on something thick like jeans or your bookbag. you can also write a cute or sassy phrase in your handwriting, stitch-trace the letters and gift it to a friend.

    Rita Sharp’s advice re: using the needle threader tool is correct, whether for the flexible wire-type like you have or the types that are a circular piece of aluminum with a small hole at each end used in tapestry, needlepoint, or bargello stitching. Push the wire (or hole) through the eye of the needle so that the wire opens up enough to slide your thread into the wire. Then pull the wire back out of the needle’s eye, which pulls the thread through the eye.

    The needle threader goes through the eye of the needle, then you put the thread through the threader opening. Once you do that you pull the threader back through the eye of the needle and the needle should be threaded 🪡 👌🏾. I hope this helps in the future. I’m not the best at explaining lmaoo

    One thing I'm impressed with is your choice of music. Very nice and fitting to relax by while doing this relaxing hobby. I am addicted to embroidery.!!! So many times, I stop watching videos because of the annoying, loud, obnoxious music. You've inspired me on how to use all of the aida cloth from my cross stitch years...which I no longer do.
