Have you ever tried a Slayer charge stacker? It sounds weird at first but Ascendancies give 1) max endurance charges = max frenzy, 2) 20% cull (25% more damage), 3) 10-20% addl more dmg, 4) life overleech and 10% reduced dmg while leeching = 50% reduced phys and ele dmg on 10 charges. You can also use Arn's Anguish belt which is superior IMHO for life builds with ~60% MORE damage (at 10 charges) and up to 15% increased life. A very fun option to have!
Ugh I am gonna have to go back to settlers to try this arent I , got all the uniques and enough divines to set it up as well. Thanks for the guide Llarold, always fun to listen to how it all comes together! :)
I did the swap to power charge, and with horrible resistance I still crushed t16’s with this shield. Definitely suggest having your cluster jewels ready to go before you swap.
Off topic, but whats ur opinion on poison summon holy relic of conviction necromancer as a leaguestarter? What are the pros and cons in your opinion? Great vid btw!
Nice work. Can I ask how about ailment avoidance and chaos resistance. Is it worth if Zealotry replaced by Purity of Element? Crit can be capped by enchant flask and yes, damage would be less a bit.
this build is freaking great got everything already just an easy swap what could we do to increase the dmg to like 50- 70mish so it t17 would be a breeze ? while keeping or minimal negatives on the tankiness
You start with a gloves base that has an Incursion mod. The mod is Cold Res & Damage Against Chilled Enemies. You can use the Harvest Bench to swap that mod around, so starting with a Lightning Res & Crit Chance Against Shocked Enemies or Fire Res & Added Fire Damage Against Ignited Enemies base is also fine, just be sure to swap that before doing any other crafts. It's also not mandatory, it's just a simple way to add some extra damage since enemies are pretty much always chilled by Frostbolt & Ice Nova.
You can use a Militant Faith with different mods, but you absolutely will want a Militant Faith with the Converted By Dominus mod as a charge-stacking caster. It's worth about 30% More Damage through the keystone.
New to POE, like your content, but in trying to play I cant figure out how DPS works. So I am playing lightning strike, and it is based off % of phys weapon dmg I think, so the only way to get best damage is a two hander? Or am I misunderstanding the dmg listed on the weapons or spells?
For lightning strike attack speed is king as well as lightning damage. Poe ninja is great for looking up what other people are doing, and path of building puts whatever build you upload on it onto a spreadsheet. It's easy to use but a bit daunting at first. With it you can upload your build, even craft yourself a weapon in it and see what happens to your damage. Generally DPS works differently for different skills/builds and it's understanding the mechanic you're scaling that gets you the furthest. For lightning strike, flat and percentage elemental/ lightning damage and attack speed are what you're going for basically.
DPS on the ingame tooltip is wrong. It doesn't calculate appropriately. People use "Path of Building community fork" to theory craft and check DPS of their builds. To learn more about the game - you are better yoloing, and figuring stuff out yourself as you go through the campaign. Then when you complete it (or hit a wall) start looking for a "league starter" build, these are builds that are meant to be cheap. This game has a LOT of knowledge to it. People with like 500 hours will feel like beginners. But if you like this kind of game, it is a great experience and very rewarding as you learn stuff each league.
@samnickerson9255 it's not going to feel good, your lack of shield and lower attack speed will make the build feel sluggish and squishy. There's DPS and there's damage per hit. If you do a two handed weapon let's say you'll do double the damage per strike but attack 3x slower, you're losing out on a lot of dps that way. There are two handed builds, lightning strike isn't really one of them. Edit: just go to poe ninja and look at lightning strike builds. You'll notice all the 1h weapons.
@@kyle9401 tf u on about bro? LS two handed sword is the meta for dps lightning strike since the return proj enchant is only for two handed swords, even a budget non crit version with precise technique.

True, cluster jewels really add a ton of flexibility on passive points.

Haven't played it. Probably good.

It's a decent drop in damage, so it's not an optimized setup, but it could work as a temporary measure.

Awakened Spell Echo, helmet corruption for +1 power charge, power charge synth ring.
Why do I sometimes have Ice Nova (of frostbolts) cast at radom locations and I have to move my mouse or dash to a diff location to fix it?
Because there's a frostbolt there
How did you craft the gloves to get hit against chilled enemies?

@PathofEvening thank you!!!!
Is it possible to send frostbolts on every cast with kitava's thirst?
Nope
hi. the militant faith is very hard to find, any other option?

@PathofEvening thanks! I have everything now. Gonna buy the militant faith.
holy crapnuts

@@kyle9401 But since LS scales off Phys, can a one handed weapon do the DPS a 2hander can? Maybe if a shield with plus to phys is used?
