You folks ever heard of the National Old Time Fiddlers Contest in Weiser, Idaho? I grew up there and I'm telling ya all you really need to go there one year!! My dad spends the 3rd week of June there from sun up to way past bed time wandering around listening to all the various little jam sessions around town. Loving your music, thank you.
Opening with some random barefoot dude playing Classical Gas on Corie's guitar! Pretty impressive company there ladies! Hats off to all the fiddlers and guitarists. Fine sounds coming from all those instruments! Awesome video!
I only found one Problem with this.... Too Short 😁😁😁 You should definitely get together more often and bring to Life this moment's of Appalachian Language of the Soul . 👏👏👏👏👏🤙😇

A beautiful afternoon in December (Saw the christmas tree), and I learned the chords to "Cokoos nest". What a way to start my january morning here in Denmark. too short though. Y'all ever get to europe sometime? Will come and listen.
Classical Gas Cuckoo's Nest Medley: Arkansas Traveler/Soldier's Joy/Liberty/Eighth of January Of course I enjoyed this!! Woo hoo! This is what I want to do sometime (except for the part about dropping in, surprising you). Now we know that piece of furniture is a three-fiddler sofa. And for future reference, when playing a Nickel Creek tune, someone in the group should make those Chris Thile faces (even if there's no mandolin present). Thanks so much for posting this and keep pickin'!
Wow how awesome that was fun super cool. Amazing job I would love to see more I enjoyed that puts a smile on one's face thank you all so much take care God bless the world an every living thing with a sole.
New subscriber, not only do I love the Appalachian music, my parakeets love it too. I play it for and listen for the myself and my feathered friends. God's blessings to you always my friends. Love & Light ..🪶🪶🪶🪶🪶
It was so wonderful listening to y'all play! Just beautiful! My Daddy, who passed away in 1999 at age 86, played the mandolin and harmonica. Though the mandolin's casing is slightly cracked, I still have it, and wouldn't take any amount of money for it! Still have the harmonica too, though the rust of time has made it silent. In my memories, I can still hear him play "Wildwood Flower," Wabash Cannonball," "Get Along Home, Cindy, Cindy," "When the Roll Is Called Up Yonder," and others! Thank you all! I'm glad I discovered your channel and I'm subscribing! God bless each and every one of you and yours!
We fired once more and they begun a runnin'. I haven't heard that in years but it sure brought back memories of my dad and uncles hooping and a hollering, stomping and a banjo and tambourines
Ok, HOLD UP!!! That's totally not fair that Gunnar got to meet y'all before my family and I did!!!!! I've been friends with Gunnar for a long time, He's Crazy....and I can't believe he beat me to this...😂 I haven't watched it yet, but I know it'll be great!
Reminds me of cape breton fiddle music here in the maritimes, love it!
It’s so awesome seeing young generations playing good old down home music! Keep them strings warm y’all!
Definitely. It's also nice to see that some young women still wear dresses.
