    This video was meant to be a fun way to show that daisy chaining is possible with multiple power stations. I have had some comments about this process is not efficient. That is correct, I understand there is energy loss through heat and conversion. Don't plan on daisy chaining being your "best charging option". It works... but charging each power station alone would be the MOST efficient option.

    While there's a lot of inefficiency (as you point out) in daisy chaining to discharge through a series of inverters, the idea of daisy chaining to charge via solar is actually quite practical, as it allows all to be charged with no re-patching. Great idea, thanks!

    Success with EcoFlow! They DID create the River 2 with an App setting that will allow you to vary the input charging level. Good work!! Thank you for contacting them about your findings (in this video at about 5:00).

      @@Jasonoid i like the rockpals 300w from about 3 years ago. I added 6 extra cells to it for a 3s10p configuration. It is older but it charges with 12-24v dc, AC, power supply is integrated, extremely small and lightweight, instant turn on and really useful for its size. My jackery 1000 is also a close contender but its much heavier and bulky for what i need.

    I have both Pecron E1500 LFP and Pecron E2000 LFP. My main use is for home backup in case of an outage. I combine both Pecron power stations in a "master- slave" way. The E1500 is the master and the E2000 is the slave support unit with its larger solar yielding capacity and larger battery.
    The E1500 having the UPS mode powers the critical loads like the refrigerator, the freezer, the modem-WiFi router and the home automation. On the E1500 LFP, the 32 -95 V "solar" input port is always prioritized over the wall outlet supplied Ac input internal charging port. This way allows to recharge the E1500 LFP battery from either solar or using the Pecron charging "brick" with the aviation connector or a 48 V battery charger linked to the 32 -95 V by means of a Pecron provided cable with the aviation connector. Also, this way allows the utility supplied input 1400 Watt port internal charger to work only when there is no solar or any other source supplying the 32 -95 V "solar" input port. Otherwise, when there is power supplied to the 32 -95 V "solar" input port, the AC internal charger is moderated to just top off the battery,
    So, 2400 W of solar panels supply the slave Pecron E2000 LFP that in return feeds power in the 32 -95 V "solar" input port of the E1500 LFP when needed. This feed is from a E2000 LFP Ac output to an external "brick" that provides 42 V - 15 A to the 32 -95 V "solar" input port of the E1500 LFP. I noticed that the E1500 LFP "requires" input power to recharge only when the battery shows less than a 96 % level. The solar input of the E1500 LFP being prioritized, the "slave" E2000 LFP AC output and accompanying brick charger remain idle until the next E1500 demand.
    Since the above mentioned critical loads only draw about 200 Watt-hour per hour from the E1500 LFP, the slave E2000 LFP battery gets fully charged and stops all solar input. To benefit the available free solar energy one just has to plug in some other load in the E2000 Ac outputs. When possible, sometimes we plug in a space heater. Some other times, when the sun shines, we cook using a counter top oven between 20 and 60 minutes (not to deplete deeply the E2000 battery), or a hot plate, or a small slow cooker. We always care not to deplete the E2000 battery lower than 80 % by the end of daylight. No one knows what will happen during the night or the day after.
    Recently, hundreds of miles away from home for 15 days, we appreciated our Pecron setup. All the critical loads were powered 24/7 for 15 days. We also appreciated using the E1500 LFP WiFi monitoring app. All the critical loads were linked to the E1500 LFP. With our home WiFi router always on, we consulted the E1500 LFP status and using a camera we also monitored the E2000 status over the Internet. We were also able to activate the utility supplied heating appliances. The only missing part was that we could not activate any new load over the Internet to use the extra solar energy when the E2000 battery went to 100 %. Since then we got a WiFi controlled space heater and no longer reject the free solar energy when the power stations batteries are fully charged. We keep on powering the critical loads from our setup 24/7. All critical loads have been powered this way for 27 days now with very little input from the utility.

    Ha, this is neat Jason! I've been using my 518Wh CTECHi to power my 320Wh CTECHi to run AC since the larger 518Wh one shuts off AC when charging, but the 320Wh (and 240) keep the AC on.

    This is cool. Less trouble that hooking up a solar panel to multiple power stations like I tested in a video. I do want to test it again over a full day to see if they play well after each power station fills up. It might be a less lossy way to solve the multiple PPS problem.

      Like your new channel name! As long as you have solar plenty of solar input "upstream" on the daisy chain, it should be fine for keeping them charged up.

      The AC300 is AWESOME! We started with a AC200p but wanted more to run our fridge and freezer 24/7. It as been flawless.
      However, it never feels like enough once you get started. We are going to continue to expand as money allows. I keep dreaming of the full 2xAC300s with 24k battery setup, with the sub panel..... one day... one day.

      I would like to see this as well for the Delta 2 Max, since the extra battery cannot be used independently. Seems like a better idea to get two power stations instead of the add-on battery.

    Great video as always. Any chance you have or can make video about chaining together portable solar panels. Am curious about mixing different brands wattage. Use case being my 120w panels age and don't put out as much wattage, later buying a 60w or another 120 to run in parallel.

      When running panels in parallel the panels will drop down to the voltage of the lowest panel in the chain. You'll get okay results with mismatched panels.... but it's always best to pair similar panels for the most power. Would make a fun experiment video!

    Interesting. It would be great to see what happens if you connect two power stations through bi-directional usb-c ports on both ends. How does the electricity know which direction to go? For example, what if both units were at 50 percent. What would happen?

      The power usually....USUALLY haha...flows to the lower charged power station. AskIve Solar showed that in one of his videos and he saw some interesting results of it not being able to decide which one to charge.

    I contacted Ecoflow on the River 2 Pro about daisy chaining that one. They said they don't recommend that as it may lead to overload. What are your thoughts?

      They aren't going to recommend anything out of the normal use case. I don't see how it would overload the power station if you are just connecting another one to the DC output or USBc output, it's like a 100w load. What model are you thinking about how would you connect them?

    To charge my Bluetti ac200p I use my Anker 535 to power the Bluetti using it’s brick charger putting out over 435 watts. While using the Anker to charge the Bluetti I charge the Anker using it’s brick putting out 118 watts plugged into a 300 watt inverter plugged into the power plug…works fine👍

      You can charge a larger power station with a smaller one, it just won't fill the entire battery since it's smaller.

    Jasonoid- Awesome videos, thanks. Follow-up question that I think is a different configuration than what you show here-- Could you take 2 Anker Powerhouse 767's, and "daisy chain" them together, placing one of them in UPS mode, and using the second one as a general battery. In other words, doubling the capacity for continuous use-- when one battery depletes, the UPS battery next in the chain would "kick in". I really like everything about the Anker from your other review, but would want to have the 8KW capacity if possible by using two.

      I think that would work just fine, the first one would pass power straight through (1440 watts worth) until the power station died, and then it would start using it's own battery. Usually UPS mode uses a little bit of background power. I have been thinking about trying idea that with a couple power stations I have sitting around, sounds like a fun experiment!

      just get a 24v 200ah lifepo4 battery and connect it to the pv input of the ac200max and you will have more capacity.

    With every connection there is heat and loss and increased inefficiency, right ? Very briefly mentioned, buying these units is an addiction for some…And power consumption by the inverters ! Shall we at least mention that ?

      Ill be sure to be more upfront about that next time. This was meant to be a fun video showing its possible. Daisy chaining two or three power stations in some scenarios can be useful (even with loss)

    I never thought about daisy chaining the power stations. I recently experimented with my Class B RV and was monitoring the amperage loads when the compressor of my 15000 BTU A/C comes on. It turns out that it surges to about 16.2 amps. Since my power banks do not have 30 amp plugs I decided to use my ecoflow 2000 max to see if I could run the A/C just using the regular A/C plugs. It is not the wattage surge that trips the circuit but the amps. So I turned off the lights and just left the fridge on. I plugged my ecoflow using a 30 amp to 15 amp 110 V adaptor. The key here was to start on low fan, than work to high fan, let it run a minute or so, than switch to low cool and let it run a couple of minutes, and than switch to high cool. By doing it this way I never exceeded more than 11 amps of surge. Of course it discharged my unit in 40 minutes.
    Now that I saw your video I have two delta 2's and 2 delta max 2000 and am going to try daisy chain them to the RV A/C plug. I know that I will never run my A/C this way but you got my juices flowing with this video. Should I daisy change from the Delta max 2000 to Delta max 2000 to Delta 2 to Delta 2 or reverse the sequence?
    As always you are a genius and great video and content.

      It will definitely work well for smaller loads. If you have a big load it's best to use a larger power station. Pretty fun tests!

    I have a 2000 watt solar generator, which has worked great for the past 6 months, but there are only two charging input ports/jack. One is 3 prong, and the other Anderson port. The Anderson port in my opinion, is cheap and now not it does not work. The only way I can charge is to plug into the wall and use my coach gas generator, or if I was in a home, I could plug it into the wall. My generator doesn't run long enough to charge it and I wouldn't want to eat that much gas anyway. Is there a way I can buy a small solar generator and plug it into my 2000 watt? Do they all come with 3 prong outlets? Because that's how I'd have to daisy chain them, via the 3 prong outlets. TY

      @@Jasonoid Maybe an idea, ... you might find different scenarios to test and use various products. Not many other videos on line... such as using a such and so inverter with such and so batteries (some cases power stations) doing this that or the other.. from boat trolling to building a work shed, or running a boat navigation etc. etc. The idea that something can start i.e. a saw but not cut wood all day is important data to consider...

    Jason what are your thoughts on charging the AC200p with the eb70/150/240 wall charger through the aviation plug/mppt? I have 2 t200 chargers. Bluetti sells the dc7909 to xt90 for $10. I'm wondering if it would improve the battery life by slow charging at 200w vs 450. Also if needed I could charge at 650w wthe t500+t200 at times when needing a faster charge. Any thoughts would be helpful! Thanks!

      As long as the voltage of the charger is within the range of the AC200P input (which I'm sure it is) that will work perfectly fine.

      The Energizer 320 power station comes with the USBc 100 watt cable in the box. The Bluetti did not. You can buy any 100watt USBc Power Delivery cable on Amazon like this one: amzn.to/3uLEZyB

      @@Jasonoid Thank you, Jason. I've just started using my Energizer 320. I'm charging my oldish Paperwhite Kindle with it right now with the older USB plug. The wattage is jumping every couple of seconds from 3 watts to zero watts, back and forth constantly. Is that normal?

      I think that older device charges really slow so I wouldn't worry about it. Your phone would probably be more consistent at charging.

      Yep, that would work for around 80 to 100 watts charging.

    @Jasonoid quick hypothetical question, lets say you had two Pecron 1500LFP and a single 48v expansion battery. If you chained both of the 1500LFP to the expansion battery would they all balance or would the two systems just fight over controlling the expansion battery? Would other brands react the same way, most of the expansion ports are bi-directional

      I dont think that would work. The communication would be all mixed up. It might even cause damage to the power stations.

    Great video and I could see how this could be handy. Would it be possible to do this with an RV battery? Basically, plug a power station 12v out to an existing RV battery? That way the solar could plug into the power station which in turn would go to the RV battery and AC inverter system that is on board. Not sure if power stations are smart enough to stop charging the battery if full.

      No, power stations don't have any built in charging options on the DC output. It would be best to have a small AC battery charger plugged into the power station inverter, then you can connect that to the battery to charge it.

    Jasonoid, I have a eb 55. It is noisy on my guitar amp. I would like to run a small high quality inverter from the DC power source. Low frequency inverters with large transformers have low noise for audio amplifiers. I am thinking maybe an aims 300 watt inverter may be high quality.

      I've heard great things about AIMS inverters. Im currently working on testing each of the power stations for noise so that video will be out within the next couple weeks is my hope.

    Great video. Is there a way or some device to combine the output of different solar generators together to power an appliance - so I guess this means they are in parallel connection?

    Hi, I have a well water pump that needs 12,000 watts to run. I have two solar batteries at 6,000 watts each. Is it possible to combine 2 solar batteries of 6,000 each to make 12,000 watts to run my well water pump? If yes, what is the setup to make this possible?
    I’m currently using a 13,000 watts gas generator to run my water pump but gas prices too high. I want to use portable solar power station batteries instead.

      I don't know of any power station that can provide 12,000 watts of power right now. They are getting bigger so maybe soon.

    New to power stations, forgive me if this is dumb. I was looking at the Bluetti eb55 and noticed that 2 of the Eb3a are cheaper. Would there be a big difference/disadvantage to chaining the eb3a's? It would be mostly used for laptop/ tablet and external drives. Thanks.

      The capacity of two EB3As would close to the same capacity as the EB55. In that case you could have double in solar charging and double the inverter potential. It would probably be a reasonable setup.

    My understanding of electricity is pathetic, so I apologize if this is a stupid question. Why is it that the power stations can’t combine the capacity they can handle, in addition to battery capacity? Like if I have two 1000w solar generators, linked together- they would be able to handle 2000w (or at least some increased capacity, more than 1000). I assume it has something to do with either the controller or the inverter for each of the generators. I’m just curious if it is technically feasible (in near future maybe).
    The other question I have is; if you are dumping power from one generator to another like you did in video, which method do you think was the most efficient?

      USBc and DC power dumping are the most efficient since it's DC to DC charging and there are not any conversion losses like when you use the AC inverter. It's a little slower using DC output since it's limited to around 100 watts.
      The power station needs to be designed to have expandable batteries in order to truly support more capacity. The batteries inside are complicated and they need to properly communicate or it won't work. Luckily expansion batteries are something that is becoming more popular.

    So I have a few larger power stations now. Eb240, ac200p and eb70 but they are all pretty inefficient. I'd like to get a smaller one that's really efficient with a decent sized lifepo4 battery that can run a lamp or router for longer periods. Or can charge devices multiple times. So like a 200-300w inverter and like 500+wh battery. Also that can handle a 100w panel. Can you think of anything like that?

      I have found the same thing. The larger power stations need a solar panel always plugged in to stay at 100%. The Energizer 320 is a pretty decent model that would fit those points, I have the review on my channel (it's not 500wh capacity though).

    The Ecoflow has pass through charging, so the battery charging the ecoflow is both charging the ecoflow and powering the load coming out of the ecoflow. So the ecoflow is only charging at its full capacity and extra the 440 watts are going through to whatever is connected to the ecoflow

    I wish you could somehow use multiple power stations to increase the wattage output to a device. Unfortunately, I do not think it is possible. You can daisy chain them to increase run time, but you are still limited in which device you can power by whatever the highest output of the largest inverter is. You can't, as far as I know, in any way supply a load that requires 2000 watts continuous, with 4 power stations that are all maximum 1500 watts output. Theoretically, if the actual batteries could be through cords, wired in series to power a larger inverter. They could maybe even be in parallel, as the amps drawn by the inverter would be drawn from more DC batteries. It would likely be prohibitively expensive and complicated, but someone like me would love that. Being disabled, a 2000 watt output power station is too heavy, to carry. It would be great if I could use 2 1000 watt output power stations to run a 1500 watt device due to the reduced weight of each.

      Check out the Vigorpool Captain 1200, two medium sized power stations parallel together to make a 2000 watt output. The only power station with that feature that I have seen. I have the review on my channel, just search back in all my videos, you'll find it.

      There is no way to combine the inverter output on multiple power stations. You'd need to purchase a larger power station in order to run a 900 watt hot plate.

    Taking a trip to the national parks in Utah in June. I'm thinking of doing a power station and fridge. Do you think it will work ok having them in the car all day while I hike? It does get hot during that time of the year.

      Nice! Which parks are you going to? It can get to be near 100F during June, it just depends on the year.
      If you have a larger power station (700wh is a good size) and a decent insulated fridge you should be able to run it through the day, especially if you charge it while driving. It just takes experimenting because there are a lot of factors that go into power usage.

      @@davidmachan3137 I try to make it to Moab at least once a year, love it there. Lots of awesome hikes!
      Either of those options will work well. To get the best performance with the fridge, try to keep the car temps as cool as possible (crack windows, park in the shade). Once you get the gear test it and test it and test it again so you can get estimated runtimes for your use case.

    Hi Jason, after watching this video and the one where you showed the transfer switch in you home, I decided to do the same. I am commenting this video because I am planning to use with the transfer switch a delta max but I would like to use it as UPS while the power will come from a bluetti AC200P solar powered. I read that in this case the delta max will only let 1800 watt going through and it is fine with me becasue I am not planning to run my entire house. Do you think this is more efficient in term on not cycling the ion battery (unless the bluetti runs out of power) so I can just count most of the time on the LiFePo battery? Thanks and great work for all of us watching.

      So basically you will have solar coming into your AC200P, then that will be keeping your Delta Max full, and your Delta Max will be plugged into your transfer switch powering your circuits? Yeah, that should work well!

      Hi Jason, unfortunately the ac200p shows a 71 watt output just plugging in the delta max with zero going in and out from the delta max. Even if I turn off the AC in the delta I still see 71 watt output from the Bluetti. I’ll try to post the question on Facebook group 🤓

      @@damianoangoli1135 if you don't want to cycle power through both power stations just use one and in the event of a power outage or something and you need more capacity connect up the second one. But for daily use just use one with UPS function.

      It been working great so far. I don't have any complaints. I like the fast charging speeds and the inverter seems to work well. The app is pretty nice to update / change settings. I haven't done a full capacity test on it yet. They want the ECOFlow Delta MAX video out first so you'll see that in the next couple weeks is my guess. They want the River Pro video out near Amazon Prime day. I'll keep showing it off until then though ;)

No disrespect intended, but I see so much of this, and frankly I become very doubtful about the objectivity of the reviews when this kind of connection and partnership exists between the reviewer and the company whose product(s) is being reviewed.
      ECOFlow has a reputation for aggressive and misleading marketing (per reviews I've read on Amazon). It would be helpful if you explained your association with ECOFlow and the independence / objectivity, and thus reliability of your future reviews.

I do make some money through affiliate sales but I only recommend a product if it fits your use case and it passes all my tests. I let each of these companies know up front I'm not someone who will lie to my viewers about a product and its performance. If it sucks, I'll let you know. I have no problem saying the product has issues, or isn't worth the cost. The Vinnic had issues, the VTOMAN was pretty bad, and the next power station I reviewing (hopefully live next week) has some pricing/capacity issues.

      You can either connect them via the DC output port and charging port, or you can connect them via the AC inverter and the AC charging cables. That will help you get a longer runtime.

      Unfortunately, there isn't a way to link 3 smaller power stations together like that for more wattage.
      You'll need a larger power station that can support high solar input. Something like the Bluetti AC200L would work, it's more expensive because of the larger battery.

    Is there a way to connect 2 or more power stations to increase wattage but not voltage output. Say I have a 450 watt light(110 v), and only 2 300 watt max power stations. The single 300 watt cuts off shortly after firing up the light. Is there a load sharing cable that joins 2 stations essentially doubling the load capacity but not the voltage as I’m sure 220 would nuke this light. Thanks

      Not many power stations allow you to "double up" the wattage on two different units. You'll need to purchase a power station with a larger inverter.

      I don't think those have bi directional USBc ports, so the only way to connect them would be via the 12v cig charging cable.

    Great test! If you are able, can you run a test where you drain your EB 70, EB 55, CTechi 500 to zero, then daisy chain them to your AC 200p to determine how long it will take to fully charge them? Thanks!

      To save on power and efficiency loss, it'd be best to just charge them off the multiple outputs of the AC200P. Like one off the DC 12v socket, one off the USBc 60 watt port, and 1 off the AC inverter. They would charge in about 4 to 5 hours depending on the charging speed.

      You would lose runtime versus just using one power station at a time instead of two at the same time. One dc regulated output for 24 hours will use about 3 hours of your battery but using two dc regulated outputs would use up 6 hours of battery capacity in that same 24 hours time frame!

      @@DiaLFonZo Well yeah, if you check your battery level and its low then sure connect it up in a daisy chain or in serial to obviously get more runtime than just one battery station. But if you need the longest runtime imaginable, the goal would be to manual switch from one battery to the next. In reality I would just check my battery at night and either keep it going or swap batteries to the more charged one so it makes it through the night as I am sleeping!

      That's pretty rare to get a panel that's not producing 110 watts or so in ideal conditions. You might want to reach out to their customer support email. They may make some recommendations on what options you have.

    Question for you, could you plug let’s say a Jackery into your cigarette lighter in your car which is 10 amps to charge then plug another battery pack into the Jackery and Daisy chain charge off of that 10 amp input?

      Yes that would work, DC to DC Charging is the most efficient way to charge so you could either charge the second power station off the Jackery 12v socket or another 12v socket in your vehicle. Also make sure your car engine is running while charging these up.

If you could start the motor with a rechargeable battery like in a car (but smaller) it could run a device like the alternator in a car that generates power for the car and charges it's own "start up" battery just like a car.     Could this be done through long AC extension cords? Could one provide the entire neighborhood power through through one generator, and lots of extension cords? In some cases, with standard house electrical wire you can run about 1000 feet. (Not totally recommended, but depending on the situation and the load of the power, it can be done.) I have certainly plugged several 100 foot extension cords into each other and still been able to use the power at the end. While a typical 15 amp house plug can pull 1800 watts for a short time, or 1500 for a long time, running those loads at the end of a long cord can be can be a problem. This starts to effect form factor of the power. Now in a power outage situation, I have managed to run 5 refrigerators off one gas generator, and refrigerators generally only pull about 100 to 300 watts running but have starting wattage of 600 to 800. This involved a bunch of extension cords and power strips going out to neighbors. Gas Generators have lots of power but are noisy. Now if one had 10 neighbors, and each one had a solar power generator, they would have a device that can run a fridge (taking a high load for a short period of time) but normally only drew a small amount of power for a short time. Could one run extensions cords basically powering the entire neighborhood? So what I might imagine is being able to extend the range of how much one could power, and with the power generators having a constant supply of power, a cheap power generator might might be able to do a whole lot more. While another option is to move the power generator from device to device, or to drive the truck around to multiple locations to charge things, the ability to link up several of these house to house and allow everyone to have a few hundred watts of power would be great. If the solar power generator can pass through the power, acting like an uninterrupted power supply, it would allow more people and places to have power. Do you think this would work?

      Simplest way is to hand your neighbors a power station because people will love having the ability to charge their phones and have a flash light that will last all night long in case of an emergency.

      I did a little more research. There are multiple ways to solve problems. Some such solutions are simple like having multiple generators, walking a generator next door or having a gas generator on wheels are all ways to share power with a neighbor. If you do want to do the extension cord thing, the more effective way is to use higher voltages. Most larger gas generators have a 240 volt output. Most extensions cords sold can handle up to 600 volts. By upping the voltage one can more effectively transmit power. One just needs to step it down to 120 at the other end. There is also a step up, step down transformers that are sold. Starting at about 100 bucks each these allow more effective transmission of power. Put one on each end. One steps up, one steps down. Some people in rural areas where they need to power a well house a long distance from the circuit breaker, use step up and step down transformers save thousands on the setup. A power situations that might otherwise take $30,000 in copper wiring can be solved for $3,000 in transformers. Transformers are widely sold for traveling and for people using foreign electronics in different countries.

    ✋ Question! Is there a cable that allows me to plug in to multiple power stations at once and send the power to a device? So the cable would have 2 or more plugs on 1 end that all the solar generators are plugged in to... and all the power is dumped out of a single plug on the other end to go in to a device?

      Technically you could use a split male 12v socket adapter and you could try to pull power from two devices. I haven't tried that before so I can say it would work.

    Does the charging and discharging at the same time cause damage to the batteries in the power stations?

      Not that I have seen from my testing. As long as the batteries inside can stay cool they shouldn't be damaged. Most power stations I have tested in my reviews have plenty of cooling / airflow. I use my AC200p everyday with about a 300 watt load constant going out and 700 watts coming in via solar and it's still rocking and pulls full capacity still, benefit of LiFePO4 cells.

    I have 2 new identical power stations (iForway HS1000). The AC out is dead on one, so they sent me a replacement...everything else appears to work. Can I charge my good battery using the DC output on the problem battery (Car Socket (13.6V/8A, Max 108.8W), connecting the Car Socket cable to the DC input which has a (5.5x2.1mm plug) on the other end? Seems like it should work based on what I'm seeing you do. The prospect of doubling my battery capacity for free is pretty exciting.

      I don't see an issue as long as both power stations still have the ability to pull power from them.

      @@Jasonoid That's encouraging...here's my hypothetical for you. I bought this power station as a backup power supply for my chest freezer that pulls about 55w. I would be inputting 100w, while the main battery would be outputting 55w.
      What happens when the main battery powering the freezer becomes fully charged while powering my freezer? Do both batteries shut off? Or how does that work? (Supposedly, they do support pass through charging.) Have to excuse my naivety, I've never used this equipment before.

      @@zippy2641 the charging will automatically stop when it's full. In theory the charger could be plugged in all the time and it will only charge when needed

    I think I know the answer to this question, but thought I'd confirm since you have a lot of experience with this subject. I currently own a larger Ecoflow Delta Pro and a Bluetti AC200Max and I'd like to hook them together as you did in your video. I think the simplest solution would be to use the 30amp DC output on the Bluetti (using the aviator connection to XT60) and then plug the XT60 into the 15amp solar connection on the back of the Ecoflow Delta Pro (the same port as the 'car charger'). I assume that even though the max solar input is 15amps on the Delta Pro, it'll only pull that amount from the 30amp DC port on the Bluetti; is that correct? Or will that waste the additional amperage? I assume you could also do the reverse using the Anderson 30amp plug on the Delta Pro and input it via the solar plug on the Bluetti? I am trying to set things up so I can use both, and then hook my solar bank into the 'front' unit, in this case, the Bluetti. So the 800W of solar panels would be hooked up to the Bluetti, and then the Bluetti would use the aviation to XT60 plug to input 15A 12V+ into the Delta Pro. Am I wrong, or will that actually work, thus allowing me to utilize the Bluetti almost like an extra battery for the Delta Pro? Thanks!

      I don't have the Delta Pro but I do have the Delta Max. On the Delta Max the lower voltage inputs (14 volts and lower) are limited to 8 amps only and not the full 15 amps since 8 amps is usually what a car cigarette plug is limited to. It's lower so you don't blow a car fuse. If you plugged the Bluetti 30amp output in to charge your Delta Pro you'd see around 100 to 120 watts max.
      If you want faster charging you'd want to boost the voltage up above 24v.

      @@Jasonoid I think with the Delta Pro, if you input 8-10amps it will register as 'car charger' but if you exceed 11amps (up to 15amps) it will register technically as "solar." So if the Bluetti is outputting 13V or so, and the solar input port can take 15amps max, that would be roughly 195W, correct? If so, that's not too bad. It seems like this would definitely allow me to use both together. I guess my main concern was using a 30amp output on a 15amp input, but I think it'll work out OK. Will test this tomorrow :) Thanks!

      The simplest way is to just use the bluetti AC output and plug into the Ecoflow. The solar panels will keep the bluetti charged during the day and then at night when the bluetti runs out the ecoflow will use its UPS function to keep the loads going all night long!

    It would be better if all units had a voltage on their batteries and a plug wire directly to the battery through the bms so that you could then join them together without the loses from either their DC or ac

    I’d like to daisy chain my Bluetti EB70S to my Jackery 500 Explorer. I’m looking for an adapter cable to go from the USB C (100w) output on the EB70S to the 8mm barrel (100w) input on the Jackery but I’m striking out. I’m sure I’m doing something or thinking this through incorrectly. Can anyone help?

      You'll get around the same power when charging your Jackery 500 using the 12v socket cable plugged into your EB70s. I don't know of a USBc to 8mm type of adapter that's available.

      Yep, there was loss for sure lol. More loss on the AC inverter charging, less loss on the DC to DC Charging.

      Sometimes its worth just testing something out, even if it's not efficient. Doing this on a small scale with USBc power delivery on 2 power stations wouldn't waste much power. Using AC wall chargers with 3 plus power stations is MUCH worse LOL

      oh he did mention the loss in efficiency in the video, that loss ended up as heat, an interesting experiment, but probably a good idea to charge all the little ones off the big one directly
