Trześniewski's Viennese sandwich actually also comes from Krakow. It was a time when Poland didn't exist and Krakow was a city in the Ausrto-Hungarian Empire. Trześniewski moved from Kraków to Vienna. There he opened his sandwich business. Maczanka krakowska is a traditional fast food from Krakow. It's roasted pulled pork meat in a rich sauce, served in a kaiser roll(bread was used in the beginning) with various additives. This dish was already known in the 18th century. Many other dishes and products come from this region.
we drove with the car.Wich is very relaxed in poland but you can also travel very well in poland by train. With the warsaw pass you can only use public transport in warsaw ✌🏻

How did you go from Warsaw to Kraków? Did you use polrail or was it included in the Warsaw pass (probably not the latter)?
