*just the character break of “I CAN LOOK THIS ELEPHANT IN THE EYES!” Has me rolling*
SAME
Same!
Got me too
Little Mac elephant
I'm 6'4, I can look down at it. Hell, I could use it as a chin rest, until it decides to make me an ex-human
I immediately folded to the snow leopards, and I'm not ashamed to admit it. Seeing snowy scarf-tail leap into the air to support her cub was just too cute!
Same, there is honor in defeat 😊
Same!
Yup, same.
Yea- that was just a strong first punch 😂
Me 2
There's no way this man said "Don't smile" then proceeded to show the most heart wrenching video about a 9/11 service dog.
That dog must have had some severe ptsd
He also said don't cry
I was fine until Ndakazi and Ndeze. Andre is a genuinely beautiful human being.
That one made me cry too!
@@ZACKMAN2007 The rescuers very often acted like the dogs rescued them from the rubble to boost their confidence and lessen their(the dog's) depression. I wouldn't say ptsd, but dogs can get depressed just like humans can and rescue dogs get that a lot if they cannot find people alive.
The "I can look this elephant in the eyes!" and calling a capybara a "guinea Big." lol That's what broke me. And the silverback gorilla at the end giving the humans a giant *SPLOOSH* before running away like one of my kindergarteners ABSOLUTELY would to me if we went to the pool.
I could see in that gorillas eyes that he was about to pull something lol.
And the the way he took off afterwards:
“Got you, humans! Hehehehehehe.”
That final gorilla story was both wholesome and heartbreaking 😢
Glad Andre is still helping protect those beautiful creatures
It's the one that made me cry! 😢 But then the "chill out with the selfies" comment made me laugh again.
The final gorilla story got me
i love the great apes.
if they werent so stinky or lethally strong I'd love to hug them.
chimps are soo cute and cool and gorillas are so chill, orangutans are ginger, so yeah I LOVE 😍 gingers, and bonobos are funny cuz they are always down to f... er um "socialize" lol
Thanks to us, we are the reason we cannot have nice things.
@@matthewbailey7421Shut up, its not black and white. For every poacher you have a person like Andre trying to help them, misanthropism doesn't get us anywhere.
I cracked at them naming Murphy's baby after the rock he believed it hatched from. Come on, "Rocky" is hilarious.
Same, it’s just too good
Ditto.
ye 💕
you are not alone bro
You’re the reason why I smiled, damn it!
The BLT story is some genuine Disney stuff. A inseparable bond forged by tragedy is so inspiring.
Got to see them IRL :)
damn lost it when two good puppers defied the extinction of the business chickens.
nah no replies how?
4:16 the Chinese word for penguin is 企鵝 "Qi E" which translates to "business goose".
it's actually "standing goose" but business goose does go harder
@@cactusfroth 企 from 企業
@@mscottjohnson3424 not to start an argument, but 企 in chinese means stand which is how penguin got its name, while the word 企業 is taken from japanese, where the meaning of 企 evolved over time from "stand" to "plan"
@@cactusfroth I work in Taiwan. Just asked every local in my office and every one said "business goose". You could be correct on the origin of the word, but that's not how native speakers, at least here in Taipei, hear it.
All geese stand. Penguins look like they're dressed up in a formal suit.
@@mscottjohnson3424 then it would be a cultural difference, since i'm a native speaker from hong kong, and the most widely accepted meaning is standing goose, though i did a quick search and its word origin can't be traced. just to elaborate, 企 comes from combining 人 (person) with 止 (originally foot, now means stop), to mean "踮起腳后跟站著" (standing on tiptoes).
the reason i believe penguins take its literal meaning and not business, is that the modern chinese usage of 企業 to mean business didn't exist until 戊戌變法(hundred days' reform) introduced japanese words into chinese vocab, dating back to late 19th century following japan's meiji restoration. the japanese used 企 in 企業, since tiptoeing is often used to "look ahead" and evolved to mean "plan" in that context. so i assume that the word for penguin existed before 企 meant 企業, esp if its origin can't be traced.
Nature has some of the cutest yet horrifc stuff
Yep
Real
Ain't that a fact
Most horrific animal: Humans
Big cats, and the abysmal ocean, kangaroos that beat the fuck out of people...
This is a little add-on to the 911 situation with the rescue dogs, it was said that the dogs began to get so hopeless, since they continued finding analyzed individuals that some of the firefighters or policeman would hide under debris so when the dogs found them alive, they would get hopeful. And I think that that is 100% worth hearing.
The sheer happiness of "I CAN LOOK THIS ELEPHANT IN THE EYES! :D" made me smile
Seeing all the firefighters saluting Bretagne for her final walk made me cry like a baby........damn dude! ❤😭 You're right,,we don't deserve dogs.......
RIP Bretagne,a true Hero........
I cried so hard I thought I was going to have a breakdown 😭😭❤
Same
Same.
Stop bc i got over then I read this comment and started sobbing again
Same. She was a true hero. What a good girl.
Whoever named that poor dog is going to superhell
No one is talking about much of a survivor hyenas are. That’s some determination to stay alive.
They are also part of tightly knit family units that will fight for their own. That's likely why the paralyzed hyena was still alive. His clan protects and feeds him even if he is incapable of doing the same for them because they are family and care for each other. Humans should learn a thing or two from them.
@@FoxFighter-HellBringerone of the ways anthropologists distinguish the remains of early humans are by mended injuries. Surviving a catastrophic injury that without aid would otherwise likely prove fatal suggests the development of a culture and community that values and protects the lives of its members.
@@serjeantpepper2986 I know. It's so interesting to see how even the older forms of humans seemed to instinctively know how to care for their own with herbs and pastes. It shows an intimate knowledge of the natural world around them despite not having the intelligence of their more evolved progenitors. It's actually fascinating.
@@FoxFighter-HellBringer I wonder how much of it was instinctual, being social animals, and how much was a rational learned concept of, 'If I help you you'll be more inclined to help me', since even archaic humans were intelligent. Fascinating either way. Also, in the interest of avoiding confusion in the future: 'progenitors' are ancestors. 'Progeny' are the descendants.
@@Joshua_Hale Well, a lot of social animals seem to be working on instincts. One of the best examples of this are African wild dogs. They are known for being extremely close knit families that will care for their own regardless of their physical abilities. They will provide for the old and crippled, even allowing them to eat first. This seems to be a learned behavior, but also seems to be programmed into their biology. Perhaps they have some kind of emotional bond that encourages them to do this as well.
Also, my bad. It's almost 2 am so I must be getting tired.
The fact they named Murphy's adopted son "Rocky" is a whole new level of wholesome! 💖
1:22 the moment both pup and moma jumped at the same time, legs out wide, I folded immediately X'D SNOW LEOPARDS ARE MY FAV CAT, IT'S NOT FAIR
My soul was not prepared for the Crow speaking like he smoked for three centures and goofiest sounding seal I've ever heard.
look up the one that says hola (hello in spanish)
that one sounds 👹
I'm pretty sure that was the seal that was frequently around this one male researcher who the seal was mimicking. The seal was pretty spot on and spooked the researcher when it started "talking" 😆
The Crow
@@contortionyx he wasnt a researcher, George Swallow was a lobster fisherman from Maine, he hadn't even found the seal, his brother in law had. He just took the pup home and started talking to it like one does with their animals and he started to mimic his speech, he was handed over to the new england aquarium when his food intake became too costly for him. He was like a family dog and would take car ride trips apparently lmao
Ironically Poe thinking if raven talk was creepy, despite it feels comically wacky
Brittney the dog’s sendoff nearly crippled my emotions as it shows that dogs are truly angels in disguise.
Dunno, i kinda see it as fkd up. The dog was walking the green mile... Most humans would rather die naturally so why do we assume we're doing animals a favor by murdering them . Euthanasia is for the human, not the animal. After working for the spca i realized how wrong it actually is to murder our best friends. The most worrying part is that it normalizes the practice. You might not believe in the slippery slope, but im in canada. It started with terminally ill people to same day approval for mental illness people. A system that will inevitably be abused... So consider all that when u watch that dog walk passed those people. Yeah the dog was in pain, but that doesn't mean it wanted to die.
Fun fact, they may pronounce it Britney but the name Bretagne is Britain in French. A really convoluted way of naming your dog
Bretagne like Bologna
@@jpteknoman No, Bretagne is a region of France, known as Brittany to the english speaking world. You were one google search away.
Dog was walking and smiling. Seems crazy to put her down? Just give her pain meds until she dies wth?
5:50 this one got me. seeing an animal getting so much (extremely deserved!) respect is heartwarming.
Just the first 20 seconds with the snow leopard got me. Also I shed a tear at the last story.
6:58 That one got me. She just looks so happy. She’s finally free, after all those years of abuse, she can finally get be a bear.
I love seeing her live her best life.
Im a ukrainian and im pissed that my people hurt her happy she is okay now
lmao, i read "she can finally get be a bear" as "she can finally get a beer" 💀
@@waterman7082I read it as "finally she can get me a beer" lol
The last picture had me in tears. What a great man and caretaker for his adopted daughters. He was with her through her hardest start and with her on her way over tge rainbow bridge. This is true love and it is beautiful and sad at the same time 😭
His love for the gorillas warms my heart.
I've shed more tears over that wonderful man and his gorillas then my recent breakup
I hope he's still alive. I read a bit about that park and unfortunately it's not just the gorillas being shot, poachers will attack the rangers and on multiple sides are militias. Something like a hundred rangers have been killed over 20 years. Its sad stuff for these beautiful animals
I live in St. Louis and have seen that eagle several times in person. He is quite the character
Sheep dog camo caught me off guard. A herd of floofy sheep goin by and suddenly there's a snout lookin at me with a derpy dog expresion.
Instant smile damnit.
I cracked a smile at "awareness of a kumquat." Evil, dude.
I don't get it.
@WilliamHouston Same
Kumquat are fruit
@@chee.rah.monurBKumqiats are a very bitter, very small, citrus fruit. It smells sweet... but if you actually eat them, they're bitter. Almost as if they're aware you're going to eat them. Almost.
Yeah I cracked already at the leopard getting "scared" and clean jumping 5x the height of their kid. That is SO ADORABLE.
Same!
Hehe same. I came close with the snuggling big kitties a moment before that.
I cracked with Chada. As my name gives it away, I am deeply in love with bears. I adore them so much that I’ve studied them just for fun for 15 years straight.
It breaks my heart to know she suffered for so long before finally getting help, but I’m happy she can live her last few years in peace and somewhere safe with people who care about her.
And I will *never* be afraid to admit that. Bears always get me smiling.
Bretagne getting that final send-off broke me like a pair of chopsticks. Oi, who's cutting onions?
Dude that Bretagne story made me tear up. Dogs are the best.
When they all stood in the big line saluting to send her off as she limped into the clinic, I broke 😭

Im not crying YOUR crying!!..sniff..
Her name got me

I was barely able to keep it together from the start, then lost it at "I CAN LOOK THIS ELEPHANT IN THE EYES!" Sudden out of character screaming is just hilarious. The gorillas were my favorite story though. Andre helping these beautiful animals is givingme some hope for humanity. Thank you so much for this video. Wholesome CG is the best CG.

Very much agreed.

That Hyena definitely has an insane bench press
The snow leopard jumping was so cute 🥲🥹 and then we got the foot stool of “I can look this elephant in the EYE.” Got me dangit
The dog getting the hero's send off brought tears to my eyes.
i started crying right at that part too
My eyes tried to use hydro pump
Ugh yeah I broke at that!!!
Recently lost a very old friend of mine. Little cat we raised that was born in our mom's closet. Name was Whitesocks. She would've been 21 this April, she had a stroke and we had to take her to the vet to put her to sleep because she couldn't eat or move or even blink her right eye. Thank you for the video man, I appreciate it.
💜
For what it's worth, my condolences and heart go out to you 😢❤
I'm so sorry for your loss. My boy Checkers is gonna be 19 this June. Losing a pet after that long is heartbreaking.
Sorry for your loss. For what it’s worth, 20 years is pretty amazing for a cat
@@mndiaye_97 Yeah, we had three generations of cats we raised, her mom, her and her siblings then her and her sister's litters. When my cat, her sister Shade, died from being run over, Whitesocks took over the litter. She was an absolute wonder of a cat. Again, thanks for the video man, that intro just reminded me so much of her playing with the kittens.
I was smiling all the way until 5:47. That’s when the tears came. 😢❤
BLT is so wholesome 12:55 but also sad
The final story about the gorillas made me finally cry. That is a real man to me, a caregiver and protector 😭
Me too! I am always sympathetic to these kinds of horros but that photo of the one sprawled out on that bamboo stretcher hit me in the feels 😢 then almost again seeing that sick monkey in the adopted dads arms before passing away 😢
Same I never knew I could feel so bad for a animal
Made it to about 14 minutes without smiling. Then that joke about the “desaturated serial killer saying bye-bye” got me.
That almost got me too. That is seriously funny
Same with me
Almost got me too man
I lost it
Almost had a heart attack when I saw the orca in that clip.
I couldn’t help but smile at 12:30 when balloo opened a happy birthday present
I cracked at the elephant part, the part where you said the little elephant was the aggressor against the bigger one lol
OHHHHH, the sad image of the dying ape. So hard to see but so beautiful and so touching.
While it is sad to see a living being die, she died comforted in the arms of her mother💖
Reminded me alot of the Painting "Ivan the terrible and his son Ivan". The agony of loosing a child, man this had me crying for a few minutes
I think this won the category Photojournalism in National Geographics Wildlife Photographer of the year 2022.
4:47 "We really don't deserve dogs"
That broke me. Got a big ass smile out of me.
Same 😭
3:28 it was to adorable
12:50 broke me
Yep, cant beat dog man
Yep, same part got me too
That last story made me so sad but good humans are so very good. I'm glad they were rescued.
I am a 35 year old truck driver who listens to a lot and this channel is by far one of my absolute favorites. And as a grown man, the story about the man who raised the gorillas made me cry.
I’m a 27 year old driver and all the same. As soon as he said she spent her last moments in the same arms that held her 14 years ago I couldn’t stop it from happening
The rangers of Virunga are absolute badasses. They have literally fought and bled to protect and save those gorillas.
Some of the best of us, no argument.
16:36 the fold time
I think this is literally one of my favorite animal videos ever. Just seeing so much of ourselves (we're just 'smart' animals, after all) in other animals is so heartwarming.
Ok, the "aggressive footstool" was too much!
I've spat on myself.😂
Better spat than shat!
yeah i lost at that part too. lmao! 🤣🤣
Got me too.
I sneezed on myself
"I don't think y'all are really hearing me. I CAN LOOK THIS ELEPHANT IN THE EYE!!!"
I lose. 😂
Good lord, I lost at that exact spot. My man got the humor right.
All the feels! All of them!
murphy!!!! im here late, but i love that guy! i live right by the sanctuary, and i got in to see him when he was still on the ground in his 'nest'. the money raised from his virality made it possible for them to work on construction for a place to raise eaglets instead of the makeshift setup they had when raising Rocky.
murphy is now fostering a new baby! last i heard, he was doing a great job teaching it how to eagle. he is also one of the most vocal of the birds when I go to visit, and always has a lovely head of feathers! :]
also, at the bird sanctuary, they have a replica eagles nest that you can climb in to take pictures. it really is that big.
I brightened up the instant I saw Chada. Love that bear. I wish the sanctuary could sell plushies of her as a fundraiser or something. I'd love to hug her (safely, without distressing her).
Same, Chada with the branches did me in 😅
@@shelliquedavis3038 Her emotional support stick is everything. 💜

I teared up too. He cared for this gorilla like his own child and I can't even imagine how hard it must have been to see her health deteriorate. At least he was there for her the whole way and passed knowing she was loved so much. I hate that she was a victim of poaching but, I'm glad she was put in the care of this man.
13:15 - That's when I folded. The seal saying "Come over here." Got the biggest laugh out of me
If I had to force myself not to smile on these, Bretagne's is one where I lose every time, seeing that line of people on either side saluting her before she's put to rest is heartmelting.
Yep, didn't make it past the snow leopard. So adorable and thank you for the video!

44 seconds in and cuddling snow leopards got me. I like cats.
1:22 big cats getting scared by their cubs is too cute.
ikr,
i'll just thought of something.... if a human scared a lion, tiger, or bear.
they WILL be throwing -hands- paws and claws.
but for their young they over react with the jump. "oh you scared me, little one"
Especially snow leopards they're so silly
The hyena got me. As a person who lives with disability, that was the most special moment for me. ❤
