You should have lead the water from the roof - "cleaning" away from the porch. Also make sure the surface is clean where you put the silicone. Poor jobs in the US as often shows here on TH-cam. Maybe thats why you only got ONE like in 378 wiews.... But everyone has the opportunity to change if they want. Good luck!

You can’t let the rain wash anything away of course you have to go down and clean up. What’s below you? I didn’t do a video on that that’s waste of time. But what’s important is all the water from the roof is now going to be collected into the holding tanks and that’s important considering there’s no water to be had.

@@donerightbydadproductions I watched your video again. I have last weeks cleaned my roof, high pressure, anti alg mixture, I don´t know if alg is the right word... The shit that grows on the roof sometimes. I lead the dirty water away so it does not cause any problems in the pipes, clogging? After that I painted the roof when it was clean, dry. 80 Hours later, (10 days) I finished. Now I don´t have to think about the roof in 25 years. Material was 6200SEK about 600 Dollaros for the paint. 40 Liters, I also took the gutter down to fix the slope in the right direction. I just wanted to point out that the videos I often see regarding work in the US is so different than here in Sweden. We have a extremely high standard when it comes to building, renovating and such things. But I know we work differently on this planet. If you told this owner the steps he should have taken to really fix his "problem" I guess you would soon have a good recommendation from him and this will spread and finally make more honest money to you. Cheers!

Well, what a lot of people don’t see are the costs involved. Such as paying employees/insurances/fuel/travel time. Vehicle maintenance/vehicle insurance and all the costs of every day life going up.
