    Hello friends,
What a journey it's been to get here!! From leaving Egypt exactly 10 years ago, this month, to almost dying a month ago in a car accident. This film is about the journey in between and the massive role the internet played in my life. I dedicate this film to the free child in each of us to dream the biggest and wildest we can.
And on a personal note, thank you to every single person who saw me, loved me and challenged me along the journey.
    All my love,
    Ammar

    Hey Guys,
Burning Boat here! We couldn’t be more grateful for being given the opportunity to work on another Yes Theory project and especially one so personal to Ammar. Tomorrow we're releasing a super interesting in-depth podcast, featuring Ammar, about the process of making this film, so stay tuned for that! A huge thanks to everyone who helped make this project a reality!

We're always put into a box, everything we do is defined by what brings honor or shame to our families. I feel so empowered and inspired to know someone out there just like me took the risk to follow the path in their heart. Thank you Ammar, this truly encouraged me and I'm sure countless others. I found Yes Theory the year or so before the pandemic started. I am not a millenial. Im 50 years old. Having gone through a particularly difficult and traumatic period in my life, Seek Discomfort resonated in my soul. I had learned through some scary moments that life is way to short to wait for anything to just happen. We have to actively participate in our lives. Moving forward gets us somewhere, always one step closer to whatever goal you make for yourself. I realized the power of Seek Discomfort. I know Im not really the target age, but I wanted you to know how much I appreciate what you all are doing. I think is truly positive for the world as a whole. I have started living again and I look forward to every day because I never know what is possible. Thank you.

I have been here since 2016 and can not wait to see you achieve all your goals in the next 10 years. Yes Theory inspires me to always take the chance. It means so much to be happy in life and not only to play a role or what other people expect from you. I couldn't imagine what would happen to me if my parents would not longer have my back. This is why I love Yes Theory. I feel like Yes Theory and the phrase "Seek Discomfort" describe perfectly what life should be. You only live once, so why not live your life to the fullest. Push yourself to the limits, try new things, make friends, have fun. You shouldn't care what others think. Why should you waste your life doing something that you are not passionate about. That's why I love Yes Theory; they inspire thousands of people a day, compelling them to do some thing out of their comfort zone. Thanks Ammar. Thanks Yes Theory.

You have been a blessing for me during the quarantine I found you because I had so much time on my hands and it turned out that you guys knew how to get a 50 year old woman feel hope in humanity again. Watching your friendship blossom it's something everyone should strive for, watching you bringing people together makes my heart fill with joy. I can't wait to see more content from you and your Yes Theory Family are going to be here waiting. we know you can't do what you used to do during this pandemic. So I keep watching all of the old videos and i just a smile and get tears of joy I truly have come to love the three of you and your friendship.

this made me cry because I understand so well the pain of not having an understanding father. I haven’t spoke to mine in two years because basically I don’t do whatever he wants. It hurts so much… If you are reading this and have a loving and understanding father, feel blessed…. if you are in a similar situation like Ammar or me, try to forgive him and just keep the positive... We need fathers with other mentality where freedom and free will is allowed to their sons or daughters. Enough with authoritarian parental figures. What this world need is love.

I quite like this video in particular, because it shows how remarkable and sincere Ammar is. He overcame so many difficult moments by following his instincts or his beliefs, but he never lost hope that what he's doing is the right thing for him. Hi. I'm Justin and I used to paint paintings and murals. I discovered Yes Theory recently and I have watched about 30 videos and I have laughed and cryed after many. I have been suffering from depression since about 2014, when I decided to leave all my struggles and comfort at that time and ride on a bicycle from Mexico to Brazil and I made it happen. I then stopped in 2018 after completing Uruguay and part of Argentina because I was tired after 4 years on my bicycle, learning, absorbing, accepting generosity from complete strangers all throughout my travels (very yes theory style). I learned a lot and learned to live scarce and abundant with nothing. So many videos on Yes theory I completely felt identified with. I am still not yet fully recovered from my journey of self-discovery and my depression and I fully understand Ammar's struggles, my situation is similar. Great videos and great initiatives. Blessings and love to y'all.

As a man who has been truly hated by his father most of his life, because of my passion, this hits so close to home even though Ammar situation is slightly different.
In a weird way, it always pushed me deeper into it, because i always knew to stay reasonable, yet it's never been about doing the opposite of what others expected me to do.
It was about doing what my gut told me to, especially when it was making me feeling happy and fulfilled. Focusing on those reliable stepping stones, finding MY way through it all.
The struggle and the doubt is part of the journey but I swear there is something so powerful about "knowing" you're on YOUR right path.
I also want to say that in this time, it is so incredibly hard to create the relationship you 3 have with another person you'd meet along the way, especially with 2.
Inspiring, seeking discomfort, pushing the limits all the time. That's not something common yet it should be right?

This truly hits at home with not only me but so many people. I know my generation has been lead to believe that we have to go though high school then college then get a job and buy a house, but so many of us look past that and just want to live. I’ve been watching these guys from pretty much the start and they have inspired my friends and I to go out and do things most wouldn’t think of. And the depression that comes with this burden of knowledge is something most of us don’t know how to face so I’m glad to see that it’s getting put out there. Living in CA and seeing that you don’t have to go anywhere to push yourself or experience new people and things warms my heart and brings me hope. I know many of you watching this are young leaders and I can’t wait to see what creations come out of such beautiful inspiration.

As a Muslim American, it's soooo powerful to have a Muslim TH-camr. There's many spoon fed LA kids making it on here. I could never relate to them (others can...I just cant). Ammar is someone MANY people can relate to due to the rawness of his journey. His struggles, his ups and downs. I dream bigger thanks to my faith and thanks to Ammar giving me the motivation to. He made EVERY wrong decision that could be seen at that time. He skipped out of university and canceled an investment meeting to make youtube videos. I can't imagine how scary and risky that must've been like. I dropped my major to pursue film at age 22. While everyone got their degree, I changed mine to pursue the thing I am most passionate about. This PASSION has been missing on youtube. Yes Theory is the only TH-cam channel that actually wants you to live and dream bigger. Thank you sooo much Yes Theory for being such a huge inspiration on this toxic vain platform. Ammar, you're a hero for being yourself and impacting countless lives. I hope your Dad sees that, and if not, it doesn't change that. It has always been the last minute - when they haven't had a choice because I've finally insisted on following my dreams - that my parents have emotionally supported me, but that support has always been belated and often half-hearted, so I know how you feel. I've had to learn to keep some thoughts, dreams, and plans to myself until I've been able to live them.

I just turned 26 this year, I definately feel this is a point where I am trying to determine where I go into life and how to find happiness.
I put this video on hold to watch all your videos from the start and this was the most immersive video yet. Really inspiring and helps to know the thought process is there for everyone.

Ammar Kandil is such a humble guy and has gone through really tough times and that makes him the man he is today. We love you Ammar and the Yes Theory. Thank you so much, you guys are just wonderful. Lots of love 💕

Chills, literal chills and brought me to tears. I know everyone says it but I'm proud of you, Ammar. You decided to show us your life and let us see you struggle, (which it kinda hurts because even if I don't know you personally I think you're an incredible person) but for me it makes me realize that it's okay not to be okay sometimes and if you try enough everything will get better. Thank YOU for helping me seeking discomfort and help me try to be the best version of myself every single day.
