Hi Richard, you are doing a wonderful job here. Please is there a video on how the successful traders develop Discipline to follow their plan through good and bad period. I want to know, How they develop discipline to follow their plan. Please help
It’s mental. I read a few trading psychology books and that helped quite a bit. Be objective and let your rules guide your plan, instead of your emotions.
Study study study. Once you have built a mental map of how stocks tend to act then you have to experience it in real time with money at work. After you experience the benefits of following your system it becomes easier to stick to!
Those with larger accounts and in retirement tend to use longer timeframes which yield smaller returns. You can use the same strategy on shorter timeframes to increase returns.
A trading system isn't supposed to excel in every environment. It should get you out of the environments that don't have the potential for outsized gains vs your risk.

Cash
Thank you….This was a much needed answer for me 👍
Does Deep vue work in Indian markets
10 percent a year is only good for guys with 6-7 digit accounts
yes very good!
Those with larger accounts and in retirement tend to use longer timeframes which yield smaller returns. You can use the same strategy on shorter timeframes to increase returns.
But will double around every 7 years but I see your point, it's not much better than a couple of high dividend stocks and bonds for all that work!
Great interview
Thank you! 💙
I can't seem to come up with a strategy to hedge against the choppy market of 2015 where all my other strategies suffer.
A trading system isn't supposed to excel in every environment. It should get you out of the environments that don't have the potential for outsized gains vs your risk.
@@TraderLion He runs multiple strategies that can work for each environment that fills in "potholes" I need one that fills in the 2015 potholes
