Fully agree. Thanks for getting Lee on. Just looked and nothing else that I can see where Lee discusses his trading. Love his approach to talking about trading, very informative and entertaining too. One of the best things about this video is that Lee is genuinely open. I will definitely watch this again.
Should also note that Richard is great at letting his guests talk . Very few people have the ability these days to ask questions and pause long enough to listen to the answers.

CANSLIM lines up with lots of the investing ideals that I have. Be clear that you need to understand this is a strategy that focuses on high growth. So this means it can win big but also lose big.

Classical examples in using CANSLIM making big $. The lesson is not to be shaken out and to hold for long.
Align the timeframe that fits your personality the best. If you’re going to hold long you have to be able to deal with the pullbacks!
The mutual fund William O'Neill managed with this strategy did not perform well. Why ?

His best returns were just buying and holding good companies, after following canslim and experiencing the many ups and downs, I'm wondering if that's not the best method with a lot less work
It just doesn't work for most stocks. The ones where it works are the exception. Most leaders completely give back all of their gains. See Tesla. And you can do it only if you have a really big profit cushion.

not so sure about this interview. love your content and well done to that man for his success . BUT he s a position trader holding stuff for 10+ years and going through massive drawdowns on his big positions. better ignore indeed (unless u wanna be a position trader)...
He’s a Position Trader.
I think you misunderstood. Lee doesn't typically hold positions for years. Usually just weeks to months if they don't fail quickly within days. The 10 year holds are very rare exceptions.
