Since Bungie turned 30 this year it has been, which is really cool to see! The shotgun from Marathon is in Destiny now and is rather strong, and the Marathon protagonist’s getup as well as two others based on enemies are armor skins Destiny 2 vanilla did a lot of things wrong, but adding the location Titan-an oceanic moon likely inspired by the watery first act of Durandal-was not one Titan’s sadly no longer in Destiny 2 for the time being-it was very underutilized, and players weren’t visiting it much-but I would love to see it make a grand return, with some new Marathon references/inspirations, seafloor explorable areas, and dynamic weather that effects the rise and fall of tides A fully-realized Titan could feel like a glimpse at what a modern Marathon would look like!

I completely forgot Marathon 2 got a Xbox 360 port. And it's backwards compatible with Xbox One/Series. And it's on sale for $4.99. Sold! I need to go back and play the whole series.
