Mr. Barris wasn't willing to change the dialogue. Eisner wasn't willing to release it. Now 3 years later, much like the NFL, Disney has read the tea leaves and is no longer backing a loser.

Trump's DOJ recently struck down the 1948 US vs Paramount consent decree limiting vertical integration of media. This means Disney is now free to scoop up movie theaters and force them to show Disney movies only and get even bigger. The episode of Black-ish in question was super mild. At the rate Disney is growing, I fear things are only gonna get milder.

I need to interject again. One does not discuss or debate or put it out there. The problem with this is that toddlers are on the internet listening to all of this, and if they aren't, their parents are watching these atrocities with infants. How do you explain away Mussolini, Hitler, Jim Baker who allowed his entire church movement to sacrifice their children, and even themselves? I have had many instructors tell their class that the holocaust never happened and neither did anything else. There is nothing worse than to grow up in an Italian household and live with the fear that someone might throw them to the lions. All have a cause or a reason, and all are of that race, nationality, or religion who are the ones giving speeches that history never happened. Fear is a learned behavior taught by us.

I think you can get a 7 day free trial. I'd also look online to see if you can get a promo code from somewhere. Disney+, ESPN+, and Hulu probably have a bundled trial period since they're all owned by Disney.

I liked it though it took a couple episodes to really get into it. Rashida Jones is fabulous! The only thing is, if you're Black, listening to the way the young daughters talk to the parents is off putting. I'm sure SOME white families may think it's funny. But for Black folks, we know a child cursing at or around a parent would land them in the hospital.

Are Asians from Indian black? Or are they not even Asian.? I know some very dark skin people from India. Are they black ,Asian or Indian. ? Please stop your offensive and incorrect description and classification of people. If you want to say where that person is from ? Just say the country of there birth or citizenship.

Its called blackish because its specifically about black Americans. No one ever stated that black Americans are the only dark skinned people around the world. We are well aware of this. When i went to Australia i came across many aborigines who called themselves "black" and i respected the fact that though they dont look like me, they are indeed also dark skinned people and refer to themselves as black. I dont go to other countries and get mad at what people choose to identify with. And the reason why the show isnt just titled "Americanish" is because depending on your skin color, your experience in America is going to be a bit different. The culture is not that same. America is a melting pot of cultures and the show is specifically expressing a particular culture. That of black people in America. Sure they could have called it "African Americanish" but not all black people in America are "African American". Some are Jamaican American, Nigerian American etc.
Imagine the episode you would make if someone in politics or right wing news labeled there TH-cam video “un released white-ish episode”

Joshua Johnson because A lot of people black and white literally believe everything that every happened to them is because the color of there skin. They even think the reason why they were slaves was because they were black. Because of shows like the daily show which consistently push the idea that this or that happened because the color of he or she’s skin. If some white guy or girl posted a video labeled “ un released white ish episode” he would be like this is the problem white people like this and then show a little snippet of him or her saying something and then him just lipping about it. It’s like if you were to take 2 MMA fighter, A & B and put them in the ring for 5 rounds, and say after 5 rounds fighter A wins but you make a little edit of all the takedowns and strikes of fighter B and fighter B only that he landed during the fight and posted it and said look fighter B should of won without any clips of fight A we would never kno which fighter actually won. He takes a 10 second screen recording of Fox News or the president saying something that may appear ridiculous stupid but not let him explain what it means so thousands are being un informed and believe the lies that come out of this guys ass. He will take a 10 sec vid of president trump saying Kamala Harris is nasty and go on about what an unpresidential thing to say in what way is she nasty even though in the entire press conference he rapidly says why he believes she is un fit to be VP. This is why I think he is wrong and a horrible political writer because he make choices for the viewer instead of the viewer making choices for themselves on what someone says. he try’s so hard to make the decision for you by creating this little snippet and for majority of the show give his opinion on what he thinks of the topic which in my mind is FAKE NEWS. I believe all the news should be is what is happening and what he or she says and they say only. Not trying to twist it and put your own opinion into it that is just wrong.
