Musk did found SpaceX which have never posted a profit and makes virtually all of their money form tax-payer-funded gov't funding, while again, Musk is NOT a rocket engineer, not a scientist, and has virtually nothing to do with the company other than popping in and yelling at people, and leaving. Boring Co. and Neuralink have never made a dime of profit, and likely, never will, and X is a money pit like no other and a joke in the business community.

The danger of "potential difference" in battery carrying electric vehicles is now the monster on the roads. Nice experiment but really not that compatible with safety or, for that matter, total efficiency. The electrical power grid is already teetering and having to fuel day-to-day vehicles is just too much, imo.
@@whalesong999 Here in Norway (where there is a good amount of hydroelectric power) they are phasing out fossil fuel vehicles. Both my kids own Teslas. My problem with Tesla (in addition to its 'look' ... not my cup of tea) is that they are connected to the Elon Musk empire. Electric cars, at least here in Norway, are here to stay and they are usually charged in the early hours of the morning when there is most available electricity and the prices are lower. Not sure how the U.S. will handle that but it will have to evolve. As for batteries exploding, there has been one incident in a parking area that was costly but that hasn't been an often occurence.

It is worth noting that the "manly" Elon Musk's first ex-wife, Maye, related in her book "A Woman Makes a Plan," that during their divorce that Musk came looking for her with a knife. "Broliarchs" are simply another example of the hubris of some successful business people that feel that because they made money at something, that they know everything. This is why business success (or failure disguised as success in the case of Trump) is NOT a qualification for political office, rather the reverse. Their gigantic egos and lack of empathy disqualify them.

In my humble experiences working for rich people, I saw the ones that brag more are those who will con somebody or some bank. The real wealthy people I met are very humble, quiet, and cautious with their words and actions.
