@@AndersonTruckingService thanks again I was just wondering about a estimated figure I didn’t really know you had your own company but thanks again! God Bless
I think this is good information but I can't really tell who the audience is here, is this a big corporation moving large amount of goods? or a small business restocking. I need to understand it in a practical sense. I want to purchase 1K box of tissues from a supplier in China. This supplier is shipping the 1K box of tissues to a port near my home (not directly to my house). I don't want someone to deliver this 1K box of tissue from the port because it costs more, CAN I (my self driving a rented uhual) go to the port and pick up these 1K box of tissues? If yes, what exactly do I need and what is this process? If no, then I will tell my supplier ship directly to my house regardless of the cost.
Yes, an individual is able to pick up their cargo from a US port if they choose to do so, but there are some items that the individual needs prior to their arrival at the port. 1. A TWIC Card a. If an individual does not have a TWIC card, most US ports have an escort service where an individual can contract that service to bring them onto the port grounds to pick up their cargo. That service ranges anywhere from $50-$150 per hour 2. You’ll need the Ocean BOL / Delivery order for the shipment. 3. You’ll need to make sure the cargo is customs released and line release prior to arriving to the port. 4. If the cargo is arriving inside an ocean carrier container, you’ll have to contact the ocean line and port to confirm you can strip your cargo from that container on port grounds. Hope this helps!
❤ I loved it dad❤
😍
