I think the thing which should have happened with this series was to have a proper ending - The Inquisition was a good episode however wasn't really on in which the story ended. A better finale would have topped off a superb series. Love 0:02 'Colonel White, Colonel White!' 'Oh, No'.
Stefano Pavone, Yes it would have been a good way to end the show and if the show ever got picked up again they have could it continue from here and have the new show be about spectrum going underground and fighting against the Mysterons that now control the world.
I think your right, Sky base should have been attacked in a final episode, and have Captain Scarlet sacrifice himself to save the Earth. would have complemented the "indestructible" idea.

Just like Dominion in the New Captain Scarlet, this wasn't the last episode. The Inquisition was the last episode as was The Grey Skulls for the CGI reboot of 2004.

if it would have stopped at 3:20 that would have been a great end to the series :) but sadly we will never know who won the war
