Tops always has “sweet” knives. It only makes sense to skeletonize an axe handle that large. Don’t ya wish you had enough “fun” money to buy all of the knives you like? I do. I really like the Camp Creek knife and the Seax Storm Vector or however you spell it. The seax reminds me of the Big Brother version of the Proponent. Also diggin the rubber micarta scales. I’m adding that to my thoughts of scale choices. Great presentation Eric.
That storm vector will be my new camp machete. Any one who takes their kids camping knows how much gear they end up being saddled with and carrying around an axe, machete, and Bush knife is kind of a pain. So an axchete, as my son calls it, is goldilocks.
One thing I love about tops knives besides the fact they put out high quality knives for a good price is how they get new designs lol. I’ve heard people talk to tops guys many times in videos about knives and ask how it came to be and they are like yeah this military guy drew it up or so and so guy drew it up and it looked cool as hell so we tweaked a few things for production and made it lol.
The storm vector looks insane! I see a version with gray handles with blue liners...looks pretty sweet actually. Either way its gonna be a serious beast!
These knives coming out or Tops just grab me , I love their style so much ....I just ordered the Brakimo and MSK and I'm still looking 😂 Their blue micartas are awesome and I'm looking at their Blue Otter , its an oldie but dang its so cool looking.
I don't know about Tops. Why coat S35VN?? Their fit and finish is very good. My problem with Tops is they do so many different models that they regularly discontinue models. I find something I like and then will look to buy one, only to find out it is discontinued. Anyone have a Tops Indio they want to sell? Lol!!
I think they should have knifes Presentations outside so they can show what these tools are really made of, got to get the knife industry more interested, axe shit up like logs/throwing, knife cutting, survival in the wild Demonstrations, come on people LETS GET THIS THING GOING! Enough with these types of presentation.
It's a cool idea, but I think you mis-understand how the industry works and the logistics behind the scenes. The use videos come from other angles...but SHOT would not be successful if it was in a different format. This is the way it is for a specific reason...and the show is what lands deals and makes things happen for the companies...ultimately helping keep them in business. That concept, although very cool, is not what would work for this particular show.
@@outerlimitless I just think if can give the customer a run down on the product outside the same way they are doing it inside but just give it some more hands on, than you got the customer attention, you got to sell it brothA.. trust and believe it would be a plus on these companies, hey!.. if they do it with the firearms why not with the axes/and knives? Distal tapers are difficult to do....😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂, yet khukuri makers in Nepal have been doing it successfully for ages with no high tech equipment like what Tops has. Love a lot of Tops knives but seriously, that is funny!

Admittedly I cut Craig off twice...it was loud in that room. However, as a host of my channel and as the one doing the interview, I do my best to keep the questions coming and drive the discussion. There's an art to capturing the information and flowing with another host, and I actually think Craig and I did a pretty good job together. A couple hickups, but overall solid presentation.
